As they drove to the ice cream shop, the car was filled with Lily’s excited chatter. She told Noah about her day at school, sharing little stories about her friends and what they did in class. Noah listened intently, smiling as she recounted her adventures.

Teacher Noah, do you like chocolate ice cream?

*nodded* I do! But I also like strawberry. What about you?
Lily Evans
I like both *giggling*

But today I want chocolate, I think!
When they arrived at the ice cream shop, the bell above the door jingled as they walked in. The shop was cozy, with walls lined with colorful tubs of ice cream. The aroma of freshly baked waffle cones filled the air.
Lily’s eyes immediately went to the large display case, her excitement growing as she pointed to her favorite flavor.

Ordering two cones—one for him and one for Lily. After paying, they sat down by the window, each enjoying their ice cream.

When they finished, Noah stood up and gently wiped some chocolate off Lily’s cheek.

When they arrived at the penthouse, Noah couldn’t help but be amazed by the sheer size and luxury of the place.
As they reached the entrance, the nanny was about to take Lily from Noah, but she held on tightly.

To his surprise, as they entered, he found Aiden standing in the living room, just getting home from work.

Aiden took a deep breath, gathering his thoughts before he spoke again.

Noah's eyes widened in surprise

I mean, it seems like you’ve gotten close to Lily, and honestly, she’d be more comfortable with you around. Plus, you both share an interest in art. I’d feel more at ease knowing you’re here, watching over her, making sure she’s okay while I’m working. Don’t worry, I’ll pay you for it.
Noah was taken aback by the offer. He hadn’t expected this at all. Aiden’s words lingered in his mind, especially the part about the payment. He really needed the money
