Episode 44

"Mm, ah!" he groans, trying to breathe. Doesn't this man remember that he needs to breathe? It seems like he doesn't; he practically stole his breath.

He grunts, "Don't make those sounds," kisses his chin, and then slowly moves down his neck. "I might send my self-control to hell and eat you right here."

She pushes him away. "It's your fault. If you hadn't forgotten that we need to breathe, that wouldn't have happened." She glares at him.

"Ha, ha, ha," he laughs, licking his lips.

"Stop looking at me like that, and let's talk more about us." She settles more comfortably in her seat. "I know you won't tell me some things for now, so? Tell me the essentials since apparently, I'm the only one here who doesn't know anything about you except your position. I'm sure you already know a lot about me, but since I don't know about you, I'll wait for you to tell me some things, so I'm listening."

"I have no family," he replies calmly, pouring a cup of honey and rose nectar. "A long time ago, I was left alone in the bloodline, only with the members of the pack, which are many, even if you don't think so. I have seen many things."

His gaze is lost in the transparent cup, watching the hot liquid move. But he feels a warm, small hand on his.

"I have seen time pass, and I have taken in many omegas and homeless people. My pack is mostly made up of nomads since most of the Lycans in my group are dead. I can tell you that I only have 1000 people who belong to my Lycan lineage. The rest, as I said, are nomads whom I have helped and protected. My pack is full of omegas that I have found, saved, and brought here. Also, other species."

"I'm very sorry about your family," she squeezes her hand tighter against his large hand.

"Thank you, my queen," he moves closer to her.

"How old are you?" she asks to divert the topic to another direction. She sees that his eyes fill with pain and notices that it is still quite hard for him to talk about it.

"If I tell you how old I am, I'm sure you'll run away."

"Ehhh? Why?" she looks at him questioningly. "How old are you?"

"Seriously, if I tell you, you'll run," he replies, looking away.

"I don't think it's that bad," she replies a little uncomfortably, feeling like she's going to regret asking.

"I'm 3285 years old," he blurts out.

"You... you..." Her face changed color, and her eyes opened completely. She had heard of wolves who lived up to 800 years, and she had also heard of wolves who reached 1000 years with luck, but she had never heard of one who reached 3285 years. That was almost impossible; she said almost because before her eyes was one.

"Ha, ha, ha, but don't worry, I'm well preserved; I'm hard everywhere," he laughs, trying to lighten the mood, but it keeps getting heavier.

"How many mates have you had?" she asks in a cold voice.
