First off, not all Alphas have powers. Only a rare subset of them. It isn't about true blood only. Some rare Alpha and true blood Alphas have exceptionally rare genetic mutations that make their DNA stand out from regular Alphas.
Think of it finding a blue flower in a field of yellow. Or Think of it like finding a four-leaf clover in a field of grass—it’s not impossible, but it’s incredibly rare.
