As Jungkook steps out of the medical ward, he’s still mentally replaying their tense exchange inside.
But he’s quickly jolted back to reality by the sight of Jimin and Kai lingering in the hallway, both looking far too eager to intercept them.
Kai
(grinning broadly) “So... how was your little bonding moment in there?”
Jeon Jungkook
ಠ,_｣ಠ. “It was... fine. And no, we didn’t bond.”
Jimin
“Right. Just two guys, all alone in the medical ward." 😏
Jeon Jungkook
*sigh* "Anyway, can you both get out of my way? Some of us have actual work to do.”
Kai
¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯ “Oh, so you’re in a rush to leave now that you and Mr. Serious here are finally getting along?”

*deadpan, with a hint of amusement* “Someone has to keep an eye on him, don’t you think? You know… for his own safety.”

"WTF! Where do you come from?"

ರ_ರ.* “For my own safety? Last time I checked, you’re the one tossing knives at people.”

“Well, maybe you’re just lucky that someone around here’s responsible enough to handle the aftermath.”

Scene: Hallway Moments Later
*As Jungkook strides further down the hallway, Taehyung watches him go, face impassive.
Behind him, Jimin and Kai exchange glances, curious but sensing it’s probably best not to push their luck with either of them right now.*
Kai
(whispering to Jimin) “Did you see how red he got? He can deny it all he wants, but there’s definitely something there.”
Kim Taehyung
*Taehyung catches their words.*

❄️❄️ “If you’re done speculating, maybe you can get back to training. I’d hate for you to injure yourselves because you were too busy playing matchmaker.”
Jimin
“Oh, come on, Taehyung. We’re just having a bit of fun. Besides, you two make it hard not to notice… the ‘tension.”
Kim Taehyung
❄️“Tension? Only because Jungkook doesn’t seem to grasp the concept of discipline. If he’d focus on his training rather than letting himself get distracted—”
Kai
(sly grin): “Right, right, because you’re so ‘unaffected’ by him, aren’t you?”
Kim Taehyung
“I’m only here to make sure no one’s getting chaotic. End of story.”

"Man his seriousness sometime irritates me." 😑😑
