"The room was dimly lit, with shadows creeping along the cold walls. She sat silently, her once defiant eyes now dulled by endless fear and isolation. The bruises of his obsession marked her soul more than her skin."
"He entered the room, the sound of his polished shoes echoing like a death knell. His gaze burned into her, sharp and unyielding. She instinctively curled into herself, her breath shallow, as if every inhale might provoke him further."

“Do you know what happens to little birds who try to escape their cages?”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(he asked, his voice dripping with venomous sweetness)

“They break their wings, little dove. And then, they belong to the one who mends them.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(His crimson gaze was a storm, a blend of fury and twisted affection)

“Please,” (she whispered, her voice trembling)“let me go.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(His laugh was hollow, a sound devoid of warmth)

“Go? So you can forget me? No, my darling. You’ll never escape me. Even if you run to the ends of the earth, I will find you.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(She shivered as he leaned closer, his lips brushing her ear)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“You are mine, and I will carve my name into your soul if that’s what it takes to make you remember it.”
"He stood abruptly, his presence overwhelming as he paced the room"
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“But you don’t understand yet, do you? You’re still clinging to hope.”
"He stopped and turned, his figure casting an ominous shadow over her."
"He extended a hand, pulling her up with surprising gentleness. She stumbled into his chest, her body betraying her resolve to stay away. His arms encircled her, deceptively warm, but the iron grip of control lay beneath. "
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Look around,” (he murmured, his lips grazing her temple)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“This is your world now. A world where I am the sun, the moon, and everything in between.
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)

"The sooner you accept it, the less it will hurt.”
"Her tears fell silently, but he only smiled, as though her pain was a melody written for him alone. "
As he led her toward the door, she glanced back at the room that had been her prison. Her heart sank as he whispered his final words for the night:
The hallway outside her prison was eerily silent, the dim lighting casting long shadows that danced ominously along the walls. His hand held hers tightly, possessively, as he guided her forward. Her wrist throbbed beneath his grip, but she dared not flinch, lest she provoke the beast lurking within him.

“Do you feel it, little dove?” (he asked, his voice a velvet caress wrapped around a blade)
Tiara calixto (FL)
Tiara calixto (FL)
“Feel what?” (she replied cautiously, her voice trembling)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Freedom,” (he said with a twisted smirk) “This is as free as you’ll ever be—with me holding your leash.”
"Her eyes darted around, searching for any sign of escape. But all she saw were walls, doors, and the ever-looming shadow of his control. "
"He pulled her into another room, vastly different from the cold cell she had grown accustomed to. This room was luxurious—a dark haven filled with rich mahogany furniture, heavy velvet drapes, and a massive bed draped in blood-red silk. "
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“This,” (he said, gesturing to the room) “is where you’ll stay from now on. A proper place for my little dove.”
Tiara calixto (FL)
Tiara calixto (FL)
(She froze in the doorway, unwilling to step inside) “I don’t want this,” (she whispered, her voice breaking)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He turned to her, his expression softening for a fleeting moment, before the darkness returned)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“What you want no longer matters. What I want is the only thing that exists now.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He stepped closer, his presence suffocating)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“I’ve given you comfort, protection, even luxury. But still, you resist me. Why?”
Tiara calixto (FL)
Tiara calixto (FL)
“Because I’m not a thing to be owned,”
"She said, her voice barely above a whisper, yet carrying a strength she didn’t know she had."
"His hand shot out, gripping her chin and forcing her to meet his gaze. His eyes burned with a dangerous mix of anger and obsession."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“You became mine the moment I laid eyes on you. You can fight, cry, scream—but it changes nothing. You are mine, in every way.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(Tears welled in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall) “You can’t keep me forever.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Oh, little dove,”
"He murmured, brushing his thumb across her cheek, wiping away an escaped tear."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Forever isn’t long enough for me. I’ll break you, piece by piece, until you beg me to own you.”
"He released her abruptly, and she stumbled back, clutching her aching jaw. His voice softened, almost tender, as he spoke again"
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“I don’t want to hurt you. But you force my hand. If you would just accept your place, we could both be happy.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He turned away, his back to her as he walked toward the heavy drapes)
With that, he left the room, the door clicking shut behind him. She collapsed onto the floor, her chest heaving with silent sobs. The gilded cage around her was growing smaller, tighter, and she knew—if she didn’t find a way out soon, she might lose herself to the darkness entirely.
