The room was suffocating, not because of its lack of windows or the dim light that barely flickered from the overhead bulb, but because of the weight of his presence. He didn’t need to speak to dominate the space; his silence was enough to send shivers down her spine.
Tender from the chains he’d removed hours earlier. The marks on her skin were a cruel reminder that she was no longer free, no longer herself. But it wasn’t just the chains that had bound her—it was him. His gaze, his touch, his words.
The door creaked open, and she flinched instinctively. He stepped inside, his silhouette framed by the faint light. His silver hair glinted like a blade, his crimson eyes glowing with an intensity that both terrified and entranced her
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“You’ve been quiet,” (he said, his voice low, dangerously soft)
She didn’t respond. What could she say? She was too exhausted to fight, too drained to scream. Silence had become her only weapon.
"But he didn’t like her silence."
"In a swift movement, he was in front of her, crouching down to her level. His fingers gripped her chin, tilting her face upward to meet his piercing gaze."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Speak,” (he commanded)
Tiara calixto (FL)
“I have nothing to say,” (she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He chuckled, but there was no humor in it)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Oh, little dove, you always have something to say. That fire in you—don’t let it die out. I don’t want a broken doll.”
"Her heart clenched at his words. Broken doll. That’s what he wanted her to be, wasn’t it? Something to control, to possess, to cage."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He let go of her chin and stood, towering over her like a predator savoring its prey)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“You think you can resist me,” (he said, pacing slowly around her)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“But every breath you take, every thought you have, it’s all mine. You’re mine.”
"She closed her eyes, willing herself not to cry, not to give him the satisfaction. But he noticed. He always noticed."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Ah, there it is,” (he said, his voice tinged with mockery)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“That fight. That resistance. It’s why I chose you, little dove.
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
You’re not like the others. You make me want to... take my time.”
Tiara calixto (FL)
(She opened her eyes, her gaze sharp despite the fear coursing through her veins)
Tiara calixto (FL)
“You’re sick,” (she spat)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He laughed then, a low, guttural sound that sent chills down her spine)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“Maybe I am. But you...”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He knelt in front of her again, his face inches from hers)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“You make me worse.”
"The room fell silent, the weight of his confession hanging between them. He reached out, brushing a strand of hair from her face, his touch surprisingly gentle. But she knew better than to trust it."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“I’ll break you,” (he whispered, his voice a dangerous promise)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“But I’ll put you back together. Piece by piece. As mine.”
Tiara calixto (FL)
(She didn’t look away this time. If he wanted her fire, she’d give it to him)
Tiara calixto (FL)
“You’ll never have me,”
Tiara calixto (FL)
(she said, her voice steady despite the tears threatening to spill)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(His smile was dark, predatory) “Oh, little dove,”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He murmured, his fingers tracing the outline of her jaw)“I already do.”
