"The room was silent again, but the weight of his presence lingered. She sat on the floor, knees drawn to her chest, her mind racing."
"How long had she been in the dark? How long since he last entered, since his words carved themselves into her mind?

"His voice echoed in her head like a haunting melody she couldn’t escape."
"The sound of the lock clicking startled her, pulling her from her thoughts. Her heart leapt into her throat as the door creaked open, light spilling into the room."
"He stepped inside, his crimson eyes cutting through the dim glow. This time, he carried something in his hand—a tray with food and water."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“I figured you’d be hungry by now,” (he said, his voice calm, almost tender)
Tiara calixto (FL)
(She didn’t respond, her eyes narrowing as she backed further into the corner)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He set the tray down on the floor, a faint smile playing on his lips) “Silent treatment again?” (he asked) “That’s fine. I can wait.”
Tiara calixto (FL)
(She glared at him, her voice finally finding strength)“What do you want from me?”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He crouched down, his gaze leveling with hers) “I already told you,” (he said)“You. Completely. No barriers, no resistance, no lies. Just you.”
Tiara calixto (FL)
“You’ll never have that,” (she spat, her voice trembling but defiant)
"He tilted his head, his expression unreadable."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“You’re strong,” (he said, almost admiringly)“But even the strongest walls crumble, little dove. And I have all the time in the world.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(She shivered as he stood, towering over her)“You can fight me, resist me,”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He continued) “But in the end, you’ll come to me. Not because I force you, but because you’ll have no choice.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(Her heart pounded as he leaned down, his hand brushing against her cheek)“And when that day comes.. "
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(whispered) “you’ll see how much better it is to surrender.”
"Tears pricked her eyes as he pulled away, heading for the door."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“I’ll be back,” (he said, pausing in the doorway) “Enjoy the meal.”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
"The door closed, the lock clicking into place."
"She stared at the tray, her stomach churning with hunger and rage. She hated him. Hated his voice, his touch, his words that burrowed into her mind and refused to leave."
"But as the hours dragged on, the hunger won. She crawled to the tray, her hands trembling as she picked up the bread."
"The first bite felt like defeat, but she told herself it wasn’t. She needed strength if she was ever going to escape."
"She wouldn’t let him win."
"Later that night, the door opened again."
"She was sitting on the mattress, her body tense as he entered, a small lamp in his hand. He placed it on the floor, its dim glow illuminating the room just enough for her to see him."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“I thought you might appreciate a little light,” (he said, his voice is softer now)
"She said nothing, her eyes fixed on him, searching for a crack in his armor."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He sat down on the floor, his gaze steady) “Do you know why I brought you here?”
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(he asked, breaking the silence)
Tiara calixto (FL)
“Because you’re insane,” (she replied coldly)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
(He chuckled, the sound low and dark) “Perhaps,” (he said)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“But it’s more than that. You… you’re different. You make me feel things I don’t understand, things I don’t want to feel. And I hate it.”
"She frowned, confused by the sudden vulnerability in his voice."
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“But I won’t let you go,” (he continued, his eyes locking with hers)
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“I can’t. You’re mine now, and I’ll destroy anyone who tries to take you from me.”
"Her blood ran cold at his words, the intensity in his gaze leaving no room for doubt."
Tiara calixto (FL)
“I’ll never be yours,” (she said, her voice barely above a whisper.)
"He leaned forward, his face inches from hers"
Theodore Roosevelt (ML)
“We’ll see, little dove,” (he said, his voice a quiet promise)
"As he stood and left the room, the light from the lamp flickered, casting shadows across the walls."
