She hangs up, her hand lingering on the phone for a moment. The smile fades as her shoulders slump slightly. Memories of Delhi flash in her mind—the streets, the shadows, and the weight of a past she's tried hard to bury. Her fingers tighten around the edge of her desk as her breathing quickens.

She shuts her eyes tightly, willing the memories to stay buried. Taking a deep breath, she whispers to herself

She opens her eyes, the resolve returning to her gaze. With a determined breath, she pulls out a notepad to start planning her trip, though a small shadow of unease still lingers in her heart.

Next Morning Ishani gets ready in a grey hoodie, comfortable trousers, white sneakers, and a cap, pulling it low to cover her face. She grabs her small suitcase and takes a deep breath before leaving for the airport.

At the Airport

The airport is crowded with people rushing around. ..Ishani stands in the check-in line, gripping her bag tightly. She keeps her head down, avoiding eye contact, but suddenly, a familiar voice calls out from behind her.

"Dr. Maheshwari? Is that really you?"

Ishani turns, startled. Rudra is standing there, looking as confident as ever. He's dressed casually in a grey fitted t-shirt and black pants, a small smile on his face as he looks at her travel clothes.

(Shocked) "Rana Sa Aap...? What are you doing here?"

(Smiling )"I could ask you the same thing. You look like you're about to run away or rob a bank.With the Cap and your look😅

(Awkwardly smiling): "No, I'm just... going to Delhi for a medical seminar."

ML:-Rudra Rajvanshi

(raising an eyebrow): "Delhi? Interesting. I'm heading there too for some business meetings."

Ishani looks away, trying to hide her nervousness. Rudra notices her tense posture and softens his tone.

"Are you okay? You seem... uneasy."

"I'm fine. It's just... traveling makes me a little nervous."

"You? Nervous? The same person who stayed calm in the middle of a dangerous storm?"

Rudra doesn't press further, though his eyes linger on her thoughtfully. They proceed together to the security check

Rudra and Ishani sit near the boarding gate. Rudra leans back in his chair, scrolling through his phone, while Ishani plays nervously with the strings of her hoodie.

(breaking the silence): "So, what's this seminar about?"

FL Ishani Maheshwari

(relaxing a little): "It's about trauma care—new methods and support for patients."

ML:-Rudra Rajvanshi

"That sounds important. You're really dedicated to helping others, aren't you?"

FL Ishani Maheshwari

(smiling softly): "It's what I love to do. It's what keeps me going."

Rudra watches her for a moment, noticing a brief shadow of sadness in her eyes before she looks away. He speaks gently, his tone sincere.
