Day 2.2

"Let's go!" Yuki shouted as she suggested it to her friends because the baby she was holding started crying again.

"You'll be in front, Deiji. I'll follow behind."

Glenn orders the girl because he knows someone else better than he does, Deiji, who can be trusted to protect the companion as he saw last night.

Deiji nodded without hesitation and then started walking while Yuki was behind her, still carrying the crying child. The twins were still holding hands as they followed Yuki.

While walking, the next thing they notice is a sudden zombie jumping on Glenn from the other side. Glenn managed to resist its forces and avoid getting bitten by touching its chest and jaw.

Four were stopped because of this. Deiji planned to help him, but Glenn yelled at her to stop.

"Just run! I'll follow you all!" He only said that because he didn't want to hurt his colleagues because of him.

Although the four were hesitant, they just followed Glenn because they didn't want to be a burden to him.

They ran and ran. As they cried again and again, they came to the conclusion that the hellish thing they had experienced last night was over. But it isn't. It seems to be getting started.

"Deiji!" Yuki shouted when they suddenly encountered a zombie.

The child who was crying nonstop with them appeared to catch his attention.

With Deiji desperate to get away and escape with her friends, the zombie was only a short distance away. She ran as fast as she could to meet the approaching zombie. She clenched her fingers in her fist and then placed his hand forward.

When the two met, Deiji placed his palm on its neck and one on its shoulder. With the force of the impact made by Deiji the zombie was knocked down causing the two of them to roll over.

Deiji stood up straight from the crash and kicked the zombie in the head with force while it was still turning around and standing still. Because of this, the zombie is out of balance.

Glenn appeared and he ended it himself. He repeatedly trampled its head until it was crushed. The four were very disgusted by what he did.

"Let's go." Glenn took the child from Yuki so they could all run fast.

Yuki's suggestion since the baby's crying has not stopped yet is to find food. The child is very hungry and feels irritated in his diaper.

Glenn thought they needed to calm the kid down because the zombie would keep noticing them.

"Let's go back to Sitio." Deiji suggested.

"But isn't it full of zombies?" Michelle moaned.

"Everywhere we turn, it's full of zombies. We also need to eat to gain strength." Deiji replied.

"They're already here." Michael's hint caused them to run faster again.

As they climbed the wall again, they saw few and scattered zombies. This may be because they no longer see anything to eat above the wall as they used to. They are definitely scattered all over Sitio de Villasarza.

"As for your plan, we'll all run in the middle of those zombies." Glenn didn't give up.

"So, it's okay to have a sacrifice. Is that so?" Deiji makes Glenn guilty.

He didn't want them to split up because she knew they could protect each other if they were together.

"Not like that." Glenn just briefly explained as he thought that Deiji misunderstood him.

The colleague was clueless and confused as to what they should do because the two kept fighting.

"Ahm… Guys. There's a building over there. And it seems to have stairs from the upper floor to the top of the wall." Michael gave a long explanation and then pointed to the building not far from their place.

"Then why the hell do we come down?" Deiji asked Michael angrily.

"I thought it was okay for the two of you to wait and figure out what to do." Michael said softly.

"What did you say?" Deiji stared at Michael intensely and Michael was shunned because of fear of the girl.

Yuki scolded Deiji because she knew that Deiji was just tired so the girl was a bit cranky.

"Or perhaps Glenn really is for Ate Deiji?" Michael joked, then hid behind Yuki.

Glenn didn't say a word and just looked at Deiji who stared at him.

They just climbed up again and started walking slowly up the wall. The wall is wide with about two spans so it is not difficult for them to walk up the wall.

"How are you going to climb?" Yuki asked Glenn because he had been holding the child.

Glenn thought that so he asked for the jacket Michael was wearing. Using the jacket, he tied the child to him. He twisted the jacket around his neck and sat the child inside the jacket.

They made Michael climb first, followed by Michelle. Yuki and Glenn followed and Deiji stopped to help Glenn climb.

When Deiji climbed up, she was stunned to see men holding different kinds of weapons pointing in their direction. There is wood, there is a knife, and there is iron. Behind the men were women, adults, and children who looked terrified of them.
