#5 unexpected Encounter

The late afternoon sun bathed the streets in hues of orange and gold as Yoongi trudged along, his body exhausted from his part-time shift. His mind, however, remained sharp-focused on one thing: survival.

As he neared the bus stop, movement caught his eye. A small, fluffy dog sniffed the sidewalk, looking lost.

"Hey there, buddy," Yoongi murmured, crouching down. The name tag on its collar read Gucci. "Someone's spoiled, huh?"

Before he could figure out his next move, a sharp voice sliced through the air-

"Put him down, thief!"

Yoongi barely had time to register the words before a figure lunged at him.

His instincts screamed danger, and he dodged just in time to avoid a well-aimed kick aimed at his ribs. His attacker-a petite but dangerously fast omega-was already moving into another strike.

"The hell?!" Yoongi barely blocked the next hit, his forearm absorbing the brunt of the impact.

"That's Kim family's dog, you thief!" the silver-haired omega snapped, eyes glowing with fury.

"I'm not stealing the damn dog!" Yoongi growled, stepping back to reassess. This omega wasn't just fast-he was skilled.

But Jimin wasn't about to let him breathe. Twisting into a spin-kick, he caught Yoongi off guard. Before the enigma could react, Jimin swept his legs out from under him and flipped him onto the ground.

Thud!

Yoongi's breath hitched as his back met the pavement, and before he could move, Jimin straddled his stomach, pinning him down.

Yoongi blinked, momentarily dazed-not just from the impact, but from the sheer absurdity of the situation.

Jimin smirked, placing a firm hand on Yoongi's chest. "Not so tough now, huh?"

Yoongi clenched his jaw. An omega-sitting on him, pinning him. It was something no one would believe if they saw it.

Jimin, however, was unfazed. His silver eyes glowed faintly, and his rare lavender-and-vanilla scent thickened in the air, curling around Yoongi's senses.

For a moment, neither moved. Their instincts crackled, the tension palpable.

Then-

Yoongi smirked.

Jimin's confidence wavered for just a second, but it was all Yoongi needed. With a sharp twist of his body, he bucked his hips, destabilizing Jimin's

balance.

Jimin's eyes widened as Yoongi took advantage, gripping his waist and flipping them over.

Now, Jimin was the one pinned beneath Yoongi.

Yoongi smirked, pressing his forearm lightly against Jimin's throat. "Not so tough now, huh?" he echoed back.

Jimin scoffed, his pride refusing to let him acknowledge how effortlessly Yoongi turned the fight. Instead, he arched a delicate brow, unbothered.

"Congratulations," Jimin drawled, his voice laced with mock amusement. "You overpowered an omega. I bet your ancestors are so proud."

Yoongi's smirk twitched. Damn, he's annoying.

Before Yoongi could respond, Gucci barked-then wriggled out of Jimin's grasp and trotted over to Yoongi, rubbing against his leg.

Both men froze.

"...Traitor." Jimin muttered.

Yoongi snorted. "Looks like even Gucci prefers me."

Jimin huffed, crossing his arms. despite still being pinned. "Or maybe he just likes dangerous men."

For some reason, Yoongi's chest tightened at the words. His gaze flickered over Jimin's face-his

defiant silver eyes, his soft lips curved into a smirk, his rare omega presence that was both infuriating

and intriguing.

Their scents intertwined in the air, the tension between them thick and unexplainable.

Jimin's pupils dilated slightly, just for a second. Then, in true Jimin fashion, he ruined the moment.

"Now, are you gonna let me up, or do you plan on staying on top of me all day?"

Yoongi scoffed, pushing himself up and off him. "Gladly, brat."

Jimin sat up, dusting off his clothes. with exaggerated elegance before tossing a glance at Yoongi. "You're not bad... for an alpha."

Yoongi stared after him as Jimin turned away, silver hair catching the light. He was already walking off, Gucci trotting behind him, but

something about him lingered in Yoongi's mind.

An omega had not only fought him but pinned him down. And Yoongi hated to admit it, but-

He was impressed.
