💭 Gosh, I really need to see what's in that notebook. (๑ - _ - ๑)
For the past few weeks, Jungkook kept following the Captain. He didn't care if he get caught or not, he just went with the flow.
And he's really thankful that Taehyung isn't mentioning it anymore, maybe that's what made his job easier.
But, that notebook is really bothering him. He knew there was something inside it, since Taehyung has been protecting it.
What's so special about that notebook that a hero is protecting it?
Today, Jungkook wants all of his answers. He made a plan, and he needs to get that notebook.

Hey, Captain!
*met Taehyung on his way*
The Captain was walking in the hallway and as usual, his eyebrows were furrowed. He seems so stressed today.
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
*didn't pay attention to him and continued to go in his way*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*kept following him*
Have you eaten today?
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
No!
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*mouth flung open*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
Since breakfast?
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
It's lunch now, you should eat!
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
*didn't respond*
Jungkook thought of another way to start a conversation.
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
Where are you going today?
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
None of your business!
*went upstairs*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*followed him*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
Why not?
*trying to lighten up the mood*
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
Just go!
*serious voice*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*ignored it*
Why would I?
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
Because I said so!

But, I want to follow you.
*flashed a smile*
This time his smile also didn't work.
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
Stop following me!
*fasten his steps to leave Jungkook behind*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*fasten his steps too*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
I won't! Are you ok? You look stressed.
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
Go away.
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
No! We are friends so—
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
I SAID, GO AWAY!
*stopped and looked back at him*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*surprised*
Jungkook was frozen in his place, he didn't expect the sudden thunder of Taehyung's voice.
He doesn't like being shouted at, he felt scared.
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*tearing up*
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
Stop following me! And we are NOT FRIENDS! We are not close, we are not related!
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
STOP acting like we are pals.
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
In the first place you shouldn't be talking casually to me, I'm your Captain, and you are my subordinate!
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
That's how we are ONLY related! Do you understand, Mr. Jeon?
Taehyung's voice was getting louder, he was breathing heavily. He didn't even notice that Jungkook was shaking in fear.
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*felt a lump in his throat while trying to process what he just said*
After some time, Jungkook gathered himself up.
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*looks up straight and saluted*
Sir, Yes sir!
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
I'm sorry, if I see you as my friend, I never thought you wouldn't see me the same.
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
My apologies, Captain.
*forced a smile to hold his tears back*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
*bowed and didn't look at Taehyung's expressions*
Jungkook doesn't wanna see the strict and angry expressions anymore, because he will surely cry.
Kim Taehyung [Captain]
*watched him walk away*
He was too furious to realise the ache in his heart. The moment Jungkook stated those, he knew he was wrong to say that.
But it's too late to take his words back! He ran his fingers through his hair and clicked his tongue.
Jungkook ran to a tree, the same tree where he saw Taehyung that night.
And right when he reached the tree, he burst out in tears.
Anger and hurt. All of the realization flooded his mind and that even made his tears fall more in the form of big crystal pearls.
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
I forgot that he's a Captain, and I'm just nothing.
Maybe he really went too far, maybe he is really trying so hard. Maybe.. Maybe he is the wrong one.
That soft face and voice turned so dark a while ago. He felt safe around Captain, but at that moment it was the same amount of fear.
His body was still shaking. He hates it when people shout at him, when people betray him, when people invalidate him.
And he hates himself even more to get affected by those, to be this sensitive. He was supposed to be angry! But that madness immediately turned into tears.
He is such a baby, a cry baby.
Twenty minutes had already passed since then, and his tears were still not coming to an end.

Why am I hurt like this? I'm not supposed to be.
*mumbled in between his cries*

*wiped tears with his handkerchief*
Jeon Jungkook [Soldier]
I cared too much about him. Maybe, that's why, I'm so dumb.
