Chapter 2

I was curious so I carefully got what seemed to be an old book out of the crack. It didn’t have a title so I wondered about it’s contents and importance. I opened the cover only to find my name written as the owner of the book which turned out to be a diary. It was certainly my handwriting but it was a little more mature looking than it is now. I opened the first page and glanced through it. I couldn’t believe the contents so I tried reading it aloud to make sure I wasn’t mistaken. “ January 11th 2010. My first day in middle school. It was quiet boring since I already knew what was being taught and even corrected the mistakes occasionally made by the teachers which some were not receptive to and got them annoyed. The only good side to today was that I finally reunited with Isabella after a really long time. It was time for lunch break when I spotted Isabella being bullied. I wondered if she was a bully magnet before helping her. I made sure dad got involved and everything ended up the way I wanted so I’m pretty happy ! “ Even after reading it aloud I still couldn’t believe it. It didn’t seem logical at all especially since the entertainment was dated 3 years in the future. I returned the book to where it came from and I soon forgot about it after I was called to get my party started

My name is Christiana Noir and I have now realized how purely a genius I am. Today is my first day of middle school and the beginning of a new year. I recently found out Isabella’s parents were having some monetary issues so I got my dad to help out as usual and finally got to attend the same school as Isa. Since she was a year younger I was in a grade higher than hers. I actually started last year but decided to be homeschooled just for this moment. I was so excited that I even forgot my lunch but I guess it’s ok since I had some cash on me. I stood by the school gates waiting and finally saw the one I was eagerly awaiting for “ Chris ! “ she exclaimed and ran to hug me and of course I hugged her back. “ Isa ! I missed you so much ! “ “ I missed you to ! I thought you would visit me but you never came ! “ “ I’m sorry ! My parents didn’t let me ! “ “ you’ve been waiting here for me ? “ she asked eyes glistening with expectation and I nodded to answer her question. She had this bright smile on her face and grabbed my hand gesturing for us ti walk into the school together. Walking through the corridor I noticed heads constantly turning towards us and immediately guessed why. Isabella was beautiful, so beautiful that she radiated like the sun and it was blinding. I walked her to her new class before heading towards mine but the eyes still didn’t stop watching me which made me feel uncomfortable given my introverted nature. I got to class and finally found out the reason for the stares I received on my way back “ you’re Christiana right ? “ a girl stood in front of me and asked. I nodded gently then she screamed in excitement drawing other people’s attention “ OMG ! You’re so pretty ! When you didn’t show up last year we thought you wouldn’t return ! I can’t believe I’m actually meeting you. “ “ huh ?! “ “ I mean you broke countless academic records it’s not something you can see on a fly ! “ the girl’s screaming made my head hurt bit I could only smile politely hoping she would move on but things only got worse when other students started to gather around me.
