"I received reports from some villagers that there were demons captured and taken to who knows where." Pei Sijing said hurriedly. "Where?" Zhu Yan asked seriously. "The forest near the misty river." Pei Sijing said. 'Our first case.' Zhu Yan and Zhou Yichen looked at each other.

"Miss Pei, I need you to stay here. I'm afraid, they want to use this to divert attention and release the demon you captured at the Demon Hunting Bureau. Staying here might be more dangerous than coming with us. Can you do it?" Qi Yize asked seriously.

Zhu Yan approached Qi Yize while dragging Li Lun with him. "So when did you wake up?" Qi Yize asked straight to the point. Li Lun stared at Qi Yize in shock. 'Zhu Yan didn't lie.' Li Lun thought. "The day you gave me spiritual energy." Li Lun said. Qi Yize sighed. "You don't want to see my face so you pretend to be unconscious." Qi Yize said calmly.

Zhu Yan and Zhou Yichen could feel the aura of anger radiating from Qi Yize's body even though his face was very calm. "You are free to go wherever you want. I will not stop you. You can leave now." Qi Yize said flatly. Qi Yize stood up and walked away. Zhou Yichen followed Qi Yize.

Li Lun looked confused. Zhu Yan patted Li Lun's shoulder. "We need to talk." Zhu Yan said seriously. Li Lun nodded in agreement. "Why did you pretend to be unconscious?" Zhu Yan asked straight to the point. "I said bad things to him the last time I met him. I have no face to see him." Li Lun explained.

Meanwhile, Zhu Yan stared at the sky silently. "Are you worried about him?" Lu Ming asked looking at Zhu Yan. "I want to ask you why you became kind?" Zhu Yan said suspiciously. "Our enemies are the same of course. Everything is easier." Lu Ming said flatly.

"You can't forgive that woman." Zhu Yan said seeing lightning continue to strike somewhere. "My brother is my bottom line. Killing my brother then she must be responsible. Same with you, you must have someone who will make you angry when they are hurt." Lu Ming said calmly.
