Chapter 1

A piece of paper flew towards Zhou Yichen. Zhou Yichen caught the paper and smiled at the writing on the paper.

[Great Demon will be with Wen Xiao as long as he lives.]

There was a blood mark under the paper. But after looking back at the paper he was shocked and speechless. Zhou Yichen pointed the Yunguang sword towards the blood stain. The Yunguang sword shone brightly.

Zhou Yichen stared ahead with tears hanging from his eyes but slowly his lips smiled thinly. Finally he found it.

"Bingyi's descendant." Said someone standing not far from where Zhou Yichen was. Zhou Yichen was shocked and immediately alerted to the person.

His hair was long white wearing all black clothes. His eyes were golden. "I need Zhu Yan." The person said calmly. "What do you want to do with him?" Zhou Yichen asked suspiciously. "I'm just keeping my promise with Ying Zhao. You can keep the paper. I just need to talk to him for a moment." The man said calmly.

In an instant the man was in front of Zhou Yichen and his hand had touched the paper containing a shred of Zhu Yan's soul. Suddenly red smoke came out of the paper and formed the human form of Zhu Yan. The transparent form of Zhu Yan.

"Xiao Zhou." Zhu Yan called happily. Zhou Yichen looked shocked. "Zhu Yan, if you are too enthusiastic. You will return to the paper before I finish speaking." The man said flatly. Zhu Yan looked at the man standing on the water not far from him and Zhou Yichen.

"Uncle Qi, what are you doing here?" Zhu Yan asked in surprise. "I came to keep my promise to Ying Zhou. I can help you repair your soul and also give you a new body. But you have to guard Yue Shan for 1000 years without leaving that place even a step. Can you do it?" Asked the man who was called Uncle Qi.

"I can't do it." Zhu Yan said honestly. "I already know. Then you can do it yourself." Uncle Qi said. "Didn't you say to keep your promise with Mountain God Ying Zhao? Why do you want to break your own promise?" Zhou Yichen asked angrily.

"I also told Ying Zhou, if he refuses then I will not help him." Uncle Qi said flatly. "Qi Yize, give me your inner core." Someone said a few meters away approaching Zhou Yichen and Zhu Yan.

A wave of Qi Yize's hand who was called Uncle Qi by Zhu Yan. The person died instantly with blood scattered everywhere without a corpse. "You?!" Zhou Yichen said angrily. "He's a demon who doesn't have an inner core. It doesn't matter if he dies." Qi Yize said coldly.

"Uncle Qi, did that person escape from Yue Shan?" Zhu Yan asked suddenly. "You need me to guard Yue Shan so you can find him." Zhu Yan added. 'Actually I need your help but it's better to let you guard Yue Shan.' Qi Yize thought.

"Right, just in case he sneaks back." Qi Yize said. "I'll help you." Zhu Yan said suddenly. "Zhao Yuanzhou!" Zhou Yichen said annoyed. "He's a person who really wants face if he asks for help it means he really needs help. That's what Ying Zhao told me." Zhu Yan explained.

"Are you sure? You can't meet the Baize Goddess for a long time." Qi Yize said. "I can. I'm sure you'll be back before 1000 years. You're a powerful being." Zhu Yan said before returning to the paper.

"Zhao Yuanzhou!" Zhou Yichen said in panic. "He's exhausted and went back to sleep. Are you coming with me or are you riding your horse?" Qi Yize asked. "You didn't say the whole story." Zhou Yichen said looking at Qi Yize.

"I helped him out of desire but after seeing him. I don't want to use him and you. You're still very young. You have a long life ahead of you. Another reason, I don't allow him to meet the Baize Goddess because the spell I used to help him is a forbidden technique. It takes 1000 years to purify the remaining effects of the spell. The spell can only be purified in Yue Shan. After that, he can meet the Baize Goddess." Qi Yize explained flatly.

"From here to the west there is a cave not too far. I will wait for you there." Qi Yize said and in a flash he was gone from there. Zhou Yichen was shocked but kept the paper containing a shred of Zhao Yuanzhou's soul then rode a horse towards the place Qi Yize said.

Zhou Yichen entered the dark cave. The light of the lantern surrounded something like an egg. Qi Yize stretched out his hand and Zhou Yichen although hesitant still gave the paper to Qi Yize.

"Help me guard the entrance. Don't let anyone in." Qi Yize said. Zhou Yichen nodded and went out. Yize took out a shred of Zhao Yuanzhou's soul from the paper and put it into the egg.

Qi Yize made a complicated seal before channeling his spiritual energy into the egg. 2 hours later, the sound of a baby coming out was heard. Zhou Yichen was shocked and ran in. Qi Yize let Zhou Yichen see and continued to channel his spiritual energy stronger until Zhu Yan became a teenager.

Qi Yize knelt down and vomited fresh blood. "Uncle Qi." Zhu Yan said running out of the lanterns surrounding him. Zhou Yichen was shocked and crouched beside Qi Yize. "Are you okay?" Zhou Yichen asked worriedly. "I just need a short rest. I'll send you guys to Yue Shan later." Qi Yize said wiping the remaining blood from his lips. Zhu Yan held Qi Yize's hand and was shocked.

"Qi Yize! Are you crazy?!" Zhu Yan shouted angrily. Qi Yize stared at Zhu Yan blankly. "You are no longer Zhu Yan, the Great Demon but Zhu Yan from the Feng Huang Clan. Watch your behavior." Qi Yize said calmly and released his hand from Zhu Yan.

Zhou Yichen did not speak and held Qi Yize's hand too. "Your energy is chaotic. You could die." Zhou Yichen said worriedly. Qi Yize released Zhou Yichen's hand. "Shut up both of you." Qi Yize said annoyedly. Zhu Yan and Zhou Yichen were silent.

Qi Yize's two fingers pointed to his forehead before pointing to Zhu Yan's forehead. Zhu Yan stared at Qi Yize silently. "Who is he?" Zhu Yan asked. "Your ancestors. You can practice with that memory." Qi Yize said. Qi Yize did the same to Zhou Yichen.

"Do you know Bingyi?" Zhou Yichen asked in surprise. "That's Ying Long's memory. You can practice your family's technique from that memory. The reason you were so easily defeated by Li Lun is because you didn't practice with the right technique." Qi Yize said.

Before Zhou Yichen or Zhu Yan could speak. Qi Yize covered both of their mouths. "I need peace. Get away from me." Qi Yize said. Both of them obeyed and walked away. Both of them walked away from the cave and stopped under a big tree some distance away from the cave.

"Why don't I feel any demonic power from his body?" Zhou Yichen asked. "You said he's a demon, you could say yes but he doesn't have any demonic power. He is formed by the purest essence of the universe. That's what Ying Zhao told me. Ying Zhao also said he guards a seal in Yun Shan. He can only come out occasionally and even then only to meet Ying Zhao. I've also met him a few times." Zhu Yan said as if remembering old memories.

"He asked me why I like to go to the human realm? I said the human realm has many interesting things. I also invited him there. Zhou Yichen said annoyedly. The two of them smelled blood and looked at each other before returning to Qi Yize's place.

Qi Yize's face was very pale and some strands of his hair were splashed with blood. There were burn marks on his back. "Heavenly lightning." Zhu Yan said. Zhu Yan was very familiar with this. "Noisy." Qi Yize said flatly.

"I'll send you guys to Yue Shan now." Qi Yize said standing up. Zhu Yan approached Qi Yize and knocked him unconscious. Zhou Yichen held back his laughter. "He'll be mad at you later." Zhou Yichen said smilingly.

"It's better than him looking for his enemy with an injured body and dying. He's one of Ying Zhao's friends." Zhu Yan said sadly. Zhou Yichen smiled sadly. All their friends died one by one. "Where are we going?" Zhou Yichen asked.

"We're going to my house." Zhu Yan said calmly. The unconscious Qi Yize was easily picked up by Zhu Yan and the two left there.

---Peach Blossom Yard---

Zhou Yichen and Zhu Yan sat outside the lounge. Zhu Yan drank tea quietly with Zhou Yichen.

"There's something he didn't tell you." Zhou Yichen said. "You mean Uncle Qi? I know. He wanted to ask for help to catch that woman but he couldn't bring it up at all." Zhu Yan said calmly.

"Not only that, the spell he used to help you was a forbidden technique. That's why he wanted to take you to Yue Shan so you could be purified there. It would take 1000 years for that." Zhou Yichen explained seriously. Zhu Yan opened his mouth to speak but he didn't know what to say. The atmosphere became gloomy. No one spoke after that.

Qi Yize woke up from his sleep and looked at the unfamiliar environment. Qi Yize walked out and found two people sitting leisurely outside the lounge.

Qi Yize looked at Zhou Yichen and Zhu Yan before looking at Zhu Yan. "Zhu Yan, where am I?" Qi Yize asked flatly. "You're in my house." Zhu Yan said smilingly. "Your house? Since when has Kun Lun Mountain not been covered in snow? Where is Ying Zhao? I haven't felt his presence for a while." Qi Yize asked flatly.

Zhou Yichen and Zhu Yan looked at each other before looking at Qi Yize in shock. "Uncle Qi, don't you remember that Ying Zhao died 10 years ago?" Zhu Yan asked seriously. "Died? Someone like him doesn't die easily. He..." Qi Yize's words trailed off.

"10 years ago? Isn't it the day the Blood Moon arrives? I remember I went to warn Ying Zhao to be careful and I asked the Bingyi descendants to help Ying Zhao control the malicious energy inside you if you lose control." Qi Yize said coldly. Zhu Yan was silent while Zhou Yichen was shocked.

Qi Yize lost all his memories from 18 years ago until last Sunday.
