Yoon entered the lecture hall, his presence immediately grabbing attention. Some students tried to sneak glances, while others whispered about him. But he walked in as if he didn’t care, heading straight toward his usual seat.
His friend, Jihoon, was already there, casually leaning back in his chair.
Jihoon: "Finally, the chaebol prince arrives." he smirked.
Yoon rolled his eyes, placing his phone on the table.
Yoon: "Shut up, Jihoon."
Jihoon chuckled.
Jihoon: "So, Mr. Busy, what were you working on this time? Business or a secret girlfriend?"
Yoon ignored him, opening his notebook as the professor walked in.
As the lecture started, Yoon leaned back in his chair, listening intently. Though he had a reputation for being a cold-hearted chaebol, he was actually a top student. He took notes, occasionally glancing at Jihoon, who was already half-asleep.
Halfway through the lecture, Yoon’s phone buzzed lightly. A message. He casually glanced at it and saw the name—Tanu.
A small smirk formed on his lips before he quickly typed a reply under the desk, making sure the professor didn’t notice.
Tanu sat on the last bench with Priya, scrolling through her phone under the desk. The lecture was boring, and Priya kept nudging her, smirking.
Priya (whispering): "So, did your Korean ‘friend’ reply?"
Tanu sighed and finally sent a message.
Tanu: "Hey, what are you doing?"
Meanwhile, in Korea, Yoon was in class, casually listening to the lecture while his phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and saw Tanu’s name. A small smirk formed on his lips.
Yoon: "In class. Missing me already?" 😏
Tanu frowned at his response. She had already told him she wasn’t comfortable with flirting. So this time, she decided to reply differently.
Tanu: "Stop flirting, Yoon. Just talk normally."
Yoon, who was about to type another teasing reply, paused. He leaned back in his chair, thinking.
Yoon: "Alright. What do you want to talk about?"
Tanu was a little surprised at his change in tone.
Tanu: "Nothing much. Just feeling bored in class. What about you?"
Yoon smiled slightly, resting his chin on his hand as he typed.
Yoon: "Same. The lecture is dragging. But it’s an important subject, so I have to pay attention."
Tanu nodded to herself, feeling more comfortable now.
Tanu: "That’s good. You should focus."
Yoon chuckled at her mature response.
Yoon: "Look at you, acting all responsible. What about you? Are you paying attention?"
Tanu sighed.
Tanu: "Trying to. But it's hard when the professor keeps repeating the same thing."
Yoon shook his head, smiling.
Yoon: "Then take notes. Even if it's boring, it'll help later."
Tanu was about to reply when Priya peeked at her screen.
Priya (whispering): "He’s scolding you like a teacher now!"
Tanu rolled her eyes but secretly felt warm inside. She quickly typed back.
Tanu: "Okay, okay. I’ll try. You should also focus."
Yoon saw her message and smirked.
Yoon: "Good girl. Talk later."
Tanu read his message, feeling a little strange at those words. But instead of replying, she locked her phone and focused on class, a small smile still lingering on her lips.
