A summer time first love
It was summer at québec in Canada and the university campus was full of couples enjoying the sun.
But one student stood out - alone.
He wore a black hoodie, hiding his pimple-scarred face behind a mask and thick glasses.
Nobody had ever noticed his striking emerald-green eyes or skin like melted gold.
His face, constantly plagued by acne, made everyone overlook him.

As Vincent finished his last burger, a classmate – or rather, bully – approached and poured soda on his head.
Vincent turned around to see his tormentors laughing.
