Both Kim brothers, Taehyung and Do Woo, enter the Kim mansion, but within seconds, the sound of screeching tires echoes outside. Vincent's sports car comes to a halt, and he jumps out without opening the door. With long strides, he rushes into the mansion, his newly dyed blonde hair hidden beneath a cap.

The triplets stand before their grandfather, Kim Jong Min, who looks frail after his recent heart operation in the USA. Their maternal grandfather's stern gaze scrutinizes them. On the wall behind him, a large picture catches their attention - a childhood photo of the triplets, alongside an older boy who shares their features. The senior Taehyung/Do Woo/Vincent, their eldest brother who tragically passed away in a car accident, smiles brightly holding his pet cat. The resemblance to their father is striking.

They look exactly like their father whom they have never seen. Their father divorced their mother when she was 8 months pregnant with the triplets

Their father, a man from a poor background, had tried to please their mother, but his efforts were in vain. His divorce from their mother was a result of her and her family's controlling nature. The triplets have never shown interest in their father's whereabouts, their emotions numbed by years of absence.

Kim Jong Min says, his voice weak but authoritative.

Taehyung and Do Woo bow respectfully, while Vincent removes his cap, revealing his blonde hair and flashes a cheeky smile

Taehyung says.

Do Woo nods, while Vincent flashes a charming smile.

Vincent jumps at his mother, embracing her tightly and lifting her off the ground.

Mommy, mummy, mama, ma, eomma, mom!! Vinnie missed you a lot!

He twirls her in his arms, his enthusiasm infectious.

She screams, laughing

Kim Eun Ji

Put me down, baby!! Mama will fall!

Vincent sets her down, and she tenderly tucks his blonde hair behind his ear.

Kim Eun Ji

My Vinnie seems to have lost weight

She observes.

Vincent snorts

Do Woo chimes in

Their mother smiles warmly.

The topic of Victor, her firstborn who passed away at 16, remains a sensitive subject. The triplets have a 6-year age gap with their oldest brother, a painful reminder of their family's tragic past.

Kim Eun Ji

Ah, I...I have it put up just a few minutes ago before your arrival

She stammers, attempting to compose herself.

Do Woo and Vincent exchange concerned glances, sensing the tension.

He pauses, his eyes misting.

Kim Jong Min's gaze lingers on the photograph, his love for his oldest grandson evident. Do Woo and Vincent exchange understanding glances, aware of their grandfather's bias. Victor was different from them - more talented, mature, and reserved.

Jong Min's attention shifts to Vincent, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Vincent pouts, complaining to his mother

She smiles softly, intervening

Vincent grins, relieved, and snuggles into his mother's side. Taehyung observes the exchange, his expression neutral, but a flicker of sadness in his eyes, for his oldest brother, he misses his older brother.

Their mother wraps her arms around Vincent, holding him close.

My Vinnie can do no wrong.

Jong Min glances around the room, clearing his throat.

Where is that boy?

The triplets understand he's referring to their mate, Jungkook.

Jong Min continues

Vincent rolls his eyes, while his mother protests.

Jong Min snorts.

He gestures toward Vincent.

Eun Ji's anger flashes.

Jong Min reminds her

Eun Ji's voice rises.

Stop it! All of you! Jungkook was pregnant, and he lost the baby. If none of you can show empathy, then don't mention his name to create arguments.

Taehyung turns and leaves the room, the tension lingering. Vincent watches his brother go, a mix of concern and understanding on his face. Do Woo's eyes narrow, his thoughts hidden. Jong Min's face reddens, his anger still simmering.
