Was the sound the rain made when it landed on the window rolling down slowly till it reached its end, the little child watched the scene over and over again with his eyes void of any emotion

"We're almost there young master"

The old driver broke the silence the boy enjoyed way too much, he slowly looked towards the driver through the wear view before looking away

It was almost December, so it was really odd the rain choose that day to rain of all days, finally stopping the driver got down first before he opened the door for the boy

Coming down like he had the entire time in the world he walked slowly inside the mansion with the man right behind him, he entered the place filled with shimmer and glam but not something he hasn't seen before cause his face showed that of no interest everyone there put on their best getup and the 7-year-old could tell they just got it recently.

"Oh my, is that Nathan dear?"

A overly rich lady's voice sounded from behind him, and he knew who it was turning around with a wide smile that reached his eyes he bowed down to the lady

"It is nice to see you again Anuty"

"Such manners...oh no need for that we're family aren't we?"

She grabbed him and hugged him tight much to his dismay ,, buthe faked the same energy

"Where is your parents Nathaniel?"

After releasing the hug she immediately asked Nathaniel still with the smile said...

"They must be somewhere around"

The lady looked taken aback but her thoughts was broken off by another familer face she recognized leaving the boy after waving him goodbye. The smile immediately falling he called the man that's been following him round

"How much longer?"

"A little longer, they'll be here soon"

The boy frowned taking off the man immediately following the boy halted

"I'm going to the restroom, stay"

He said then went straight for the exit like the man couldn't see him, he passed the garden side where there were a bunch of flowers which smelt absolutely amazing he took a deep breath then letting it out slowly, the rain had reduced to a drizzle so he just got a little wet, his black hair slowly rested on his forehead while he kept staring at the flowers.

He flinched a bit when he saw sudden movements from the flowers, before he heard rustling then, something came jumping out of the flower with only the eyes peeking out

Eyes that had glases on them, Nathaniel tilted his head as the other came up his face now visible.

And he froze, Nathaniel froze, well they both froze as the rain got a little heavier the kid pushed his glassess forward

"Wow"

He said in almost a whisper if Nathaniel wasn't so close he won't have heard

"So pretty-"

"-Hey I've been looking for you Kid, come one your mom is going"

"Ah-Wait there is a....."

He pointed to something in front of him but nothing or rather no one was in front of him any more, he turned his head left and right to search for the person but to no avail, giving he nods his head and follows the man who was to take him to his mother.

"Master are you okay?"

Nathaniel nodded short of words at what just happened not to long ago and just in time his parents came in as everyone reduced their volume while he just rolled his eyes.
