Jayden POV:

Noooo!

It wasn't like this.....his eyes were a little bent in a cute way or was it bent in a normal way.

Ugh

I can't remember, all I remember was seeing a very lovely being today which may I add boasted my mood but after that one appearance I didn't see him for the whole day. I'm currently in my bedroom on my reading desk trying oh trying to draw him but me and my memory we'll let's just say we aren't the best of friends.

I ripped the paper from the book folding it up the tossing it, I threw my head back letting out an exaggerated sigh before I blinked my eye open to see my ceiling.

Why can't remember him, I had planned to use some of his features for my drawings which was one of the things delaying me right now. How could I forget such a beautiful face when I do know it was certainly beautiful.

"Jay"

Becky knocked on my door with a plate of food kn her hand then leaving not saying another word, I rolled my eyes guess dinner is ready.

Getting up I closed up my book taking it to my bathroom there was a small compartment that could contain all the equipment I needed for my comics plus comics I do read myself,for research of course.

I slowly walked down the stairs to see my mom and Becky on the dining table I sat on my side of the table picking up my spoon.

"How's school Jay?"

It was beautiful

"It was fine" I said looking down at my food cause I could feel my mom's stare on me

"Becky what about you?"

"It could be better but y'know" she shrugged her shoulders my eyes glanced up to her and almost immediately her eyes met mine and I looked away, I hated eye contact so bad

".....I'll be leaving next week" I froze raising my eyes to meet my mom's soft gaze that were already staring at me

"So quick" Becky asked dropping her spoon

My mom blinked a bit

"Yeah, b-but I'll be back as soon as possible-"

"How long are you going to be gone?"

I found myself asking the question, she looked down

"A month"

Silence

That's all there was no one talked everyone just ate in silent and went on with their nights, I was about to enter my room when mom called me I turned around to see her it was a little dark but her blue eyes were brighter

"You know it's not-"

"Mom" I don't want to talk about this I thought before looking at her. Her eyes went sad before she nodded guess my face without filter finally came in handy

I slammed my door shut, sliding down the door I took in a lot of air then letting it out. I wish I could rewrite the stars like the song said but of course earth was bound to fuck me up any way possible.

The next day, Tuesday, and I was already feeling like shit, I sluggishly did my morning routine, so I could get out of the house before anyone comes to talk to me about yesterday's...matter

I grabbed my school bag pushing glasses that kept sliding down my nose before I opened the door not wanting to get through the day, but it's a must, so I sucked it up walking past my door frame. I passed by Becky's room she was almost off to work

"Hi" I muttered passing by just as I was down the stairs she answered with a loud bye!

I thanked every living thing my mom was already out this morning, don't feel like have an awkward convo with her.

I stopped at Ember's house waiting for her at my usual spot close to the mailbox like always whether I'm late or early she's always latter.....if that's a word

"You're thinking too loud Jay"

I turned to see Ember dressed up neatly for the first time, I rose a brow in a questioning way,, and she knew better to answer.

"Jayden dear"

Ember's mom called out to me from her porch I smiled a little giving her a little wave

"Hi Mrs Hart"

"I hope your promise still stands"

My lip twitched, I can't believe she still remembers I nodded then took off with Ember

"What's with the getup?" I wasted no time, getting to the point

"I'm back together with Liam, and we'll be going on a date later today, speaking of. Can you help me cover up for a while till like 7 at night"

I looked at her disappointed, is her shortness reducing her capacity to see the obvious truth above, she rolled her eyes already having an idea of my thought, I shrugged

"Thanks Jay" she hugged me and I patted her head she grumbled in annoyance and I just smiled.

Lunchtime, finally I haven't eaten since and I'm starving, I usually wait for Ember under a tree out the school yard before heading to my eating spot, but I couldn't wait just as I was about to make a turn on my left something came bumping into or rather someone, I stumbled back annoyed, what the hell?

"Watch where you're going" He snapped shoving me aside
