Walking off of the school's compound, I saw Aaron walking in the opposite direction, which is the fastest way to my house, but decided to go the other way, but just as I was turning to go home, I felt a hand turn me around. "That's the longer way. Where are you going?", Aaron asked and I didn't want to be in any kind of conversation with him and tried to walk off, but got pulled back into his chest and I turned to see his face, and many students were looking. "I asked, where are you going?", he asked with his hand tighter and tighter wrapped around my upper arm and pulled me in closer. "That's hurting Aaron", I said trying to pull away from his grip. "Answer the question, Tae", Aaron said sternly and I looked down. "Home", I said and looked back up to see Aaron looking down at him, and I looked back.

'What's going on?'

"Alright. But I'm following you", he said and loose grip of me, and I walked forward in awkward silence with my head down.

In front of my house, I turned around to see if Aaron was still behind me, and he still was, and I sighed in my head, and turned back in front to open the door. I opened the door and greeted my mom who was sitting on the living room's couch, and closed the door, completely forgetting about Aaron, and went upstairs. I slid out of my shoes, and jogged quickly upstairs to my room and closed the door quietly. I dropped my things, took out my phone and jumped on the bed excitedly, because tomorrow was the last day of the week for school. I opened my phone to answer some messages and one of them was from Ray. I opened the message, and my mind got to reading. "He wants to meet me somewhere in the back of the school tomorrow", I read out loud and squinted my eyes and my eyes went back to normal.

'I wonder why?.'

I laid flat on my bed and had my phone over my face and mindlessly scrolled through TikTok for a couple of minutes before getting interrupted my mom."Tae, honey. I'm going to get ready for my night shift now, and I'll come back up to tell you when I'm leaving", she calmly informed me and I nodded my head and she closed my door, and heard her light foot steps going down the stairs. I curled up in a ball and started to answer Ray's message as it came back across my mind.

After answering his text, I asked him if he can just come now because the suspense was killing me for a weird reason. Ray: "Um...fine. Time", he asked and my mom entered my room again in her Nursing Uniform and I was shocked at how fast she took to get ready. "Honey, I'm going early because I got called in to for a double shift, alright?", she told me and I got up to hug her and she proceeded to exit the house, and into her car and I watched every move and invited Ray to come over.
