After Jungkook was reborn, he knew there were things that must be done instead of just leaving them be.
If his grandmother knew what
he was doing, the woman might not be angry with him this time.
A loud whistle pulled him back from his wandering thoughts.
His eyes were fixed ahead as he started the engine. The engine roared to life and the tires were spinning on the spot, spewing out smoke and sparks fiercely.
The waving spotlights shed some light on Taehyung’s face.
Kim Taehyung
(He chuckled and jokingly said)
“I’ll put my life in your hands.”
Beep!
The whistle was blown and the flag waved down.
Jungkook stepped on the pedal and the red car sprinted away.
Jiang Fan’s yellow supercar also took off almost at the same time.
Smoke covered their trails and the two cars disappeared from people’s sight in the blink of an eye.

Jhope frowned as the two cars left his sight.
Hwang Hyunjin
(He smiled wantonly at him and said) “Brother Jhope, you don’t have to worry. Jungkook will win this.”
Even though Jiang Fan had multiple victories in Xiaosong Hill, he was up against Jungkook today.
Hyunjin prayed for the guy in his heart.
He wondered if Jiang Fan would get a serious scolding or beating after losing the money.
Jhope did not say a word. He was not worried about winning or losing. He was only worried about Taehyung.

Jungkook drove uphill with ridiculous speed. The scenery on both sides of the window flashed over in an instant.
Jiang Fan was close behind him
Compared to Jungkook, Jiang Fan knew the place better and knew how to drive faster and safer.
His advantage soon helped him overtake Jungkook at the third curve.
The mountain road was narrow and the higher they drove, the narrower the road.
This meant that Jungkook might have a difficult time overtaking Jiang Fan as the race went on.
Jungkook also realized it after Jiang Fan overtook him. he stayed close behind Jiang Fan and did not show any signs of trying to overtake him.
Jiang Fan could not shake him off.
The two cars maintained a fixed distance between each other.
Jiang Fan looked in the rear-view mirror and chuckled.

“That’s all you got and you’re trying to win me?"
The curves of Xiaosong Hill were dangerous and would only get more difficult. Only the third and the sixth curves were suitable for overtaking.
However, Jungkook would not know this because he was new.
Jiang Fan
“he’s going to lose!”
Both cars sprinted along the way and soon made their way to the sixth curve.
Excited, the woman with the stopwatch beside Jiang Fan said

“Master Jiang, 11 minutes and 36 seconds!”
It was Jiang Fan’s fastest time yet to reach this point in Xiaosong Hill.
The yellow car sprinted across the sixth curve in an instant.
Jiang Fan grinned. Jungkook had lost the last chance to overtake him.
He did not know why the boy stayed behind him for almost the whole race.
Soon, they arrived at the last curve.
The seventh and last curve was the most dangerous one. Multiple accidents had happened here.
If the driver was careless, it would mean a fatal accident with no return.
Jiang Fan slowed down.
It was then he noticed that Jungkook was approaching him quickly from behind.
Jiang Fan
“he’s not slowing down? he’s out of his mind!”
A fraction of a second later, the red car overtook the yellow car and Jungkook seized the first spot again.
Jiang Fan cursed out loud and got angry. He almost stepped on the pedal, but the fear deep down in his heart stopped him. It killed the impulsive act in him.
Jiang Fan
“Crazy bitch. It’s suicidal, I’m not trying to get myself killed!”
The red car drifted across the curve with astounding speed. A few inches more and the car would have flown off the tracks.
The screech from the tires rubbing against the asphalt road was numbing.
The fatal scene did not happen, though.
The driver of the red car nimbly and dangerously drifted across the last curve and continued forward to the peak.
Jiang Fan’s heart sank. He wanted to chase after Jungkook, but it was already too late.
The distance was stretched out and Jungkook took the first spot.
Finally, the whistle was blown when Jungkook crossed the finish line.

“13 minutes and 14 seconds! A new record!”
Loud and excited cheers welcomed him back. Everyone at the peak cheered as loud as they could.
Someone in the crowd then shouted

“Hey, boy! The winner must kiss his partner in front of everyone!”
The cheers got even louder while the whistles were endless and sharp to the ears.
Jungkook was stunned. he has never heard of such a rule in Xiaosong Hill.
he unconsciously looked at Taehyung who was beside him, but he had his head down.
His slightly messy bangs covered his eyes.
The sharp jawline that went all the way down to his chin was perfectly outlined by the light. It was impeccable.
His eyes were shrouded behind the shadow, as though a layer of mist prevented her from seeing him. She did not know what was going on or what he was thinking.
Jungkook ’s heart skipped a beat because something was wrong with Taehyung.
Jungkook
“Second Master Kim?”( he called out to him.)
The boy ’s clear voice entered Kim Taehyung ’s ears and tore the flashing images in his mind to shreds.
Taehyung fluttered his eyes and slowly regained his senses.
He leaned back on the seat and unbuttoned his collar.
The suffocating feeling was finally relieved.
From Jungkook’s point of view, the man’s impeccable side profile, his sexy Adam’s apple, and his heaving chest under his unbuttoned shirt… he knew he could not look, but the seduction was huge.
he remembered he was in for rehabilitation, so she got anxious and worried about him.
he unfastened her seatbelt and got closer.
It was then Taehyung opened his eyes and looked at him.
His deep gaze seemed to contain the most beautiful smile. He slightly curved his eyes and looked rather lazy compared to his usual cold and stiff presence.
Seeing such a handsome face at such a close distance affected Jungkook greatly. he was stunned.
Kim Taehyung
(He said with a soft chuckle)
“What are you thinking, little boy?”
Little boy?!
Jungkook eyes twitched helplessly, but when he realized it, he was already out of the car.
The crowd outside the car saw what happened.

“What the hell? Is Second Master Kim out his mind ? A beautiful boy wanted to kiss him and he rejected him?!”
Taehyung raised a brow at those words.
Jungkook heard them as well when he got out and the grievance almost choked him.

💭‘I was trying to kiss him? Are they blind?’
Bang! he slammed the door shut, and Taehyung turned around to look her in the eyes. He smiled.
The little boy really had a temper.
Kim Taehyung
“That’s all for today. he still has homework to do.”
Everyone already knew who Kim Taehyung was, and since he had made it clear, no one dared to stop them anymore.
The little kissing prank died off after Kim Taehyung told them to stop.

“Yeah, you’re right. It’s getting late, you’d better finish your homework before going to bed!”

(He then looked at Jiang Fan.)
“I want to see the money in his card before 12 noon tomorrow.”
Jiang Fan was already moody after losing the race and when he heard those words from KimTaehyung, he felt like he got punched in the stomach and was suffering from internal damages.
He might be rich, but losing five million in less than 15 minutes was painful even to him.
If his family knew what he did, he would get a serious scolding or even beating.
However, no matter how bold he was, he dared not go back on his word in front of KimTaehyung.
Jiang Fan
He clenched his teeth and said, “Don’t you worry. Five million and not a penny less.”
Jungkook finally felt better after hearing him.
He looked at Taehyung again. The man was leaning on the car nonchalantly. It seemed like hi. worries were useless.
The man’s thoughts and methods were fast and sharp. he did not have to worry about him at all.
Jiang Fan left in embarrassment after losing the race. He and his gang left together.
The other group at the foot of the hill got the news, and when the red supercar came back, cheers sounded again.
Hyunjin jumped down from a car’s hood and ran to Jhope.

“Look, Brother Jhope, what did I tell you? Jungkook had this in the bag!”
Even he could not beat Jungkook, let alone Jiang Fan.
Jhope did not say a word. His eyes were simply fixed on the red car.
When the car stopped, Taehyung came down.
Jhope went up to him and sized him up.
Jhope
“How are you feeling?”
Kim Taehyung
(He placed his hands into his pockets and smiled.)
“Nothing’s wrong. I rejected the little boy and made him mad.”
Jhope sighed a breath of relief, but when he heard the second part, he reacted strangely to Taehyung words.
Someone did say the winner would have to kiss the partner.
Jhope
(He face twitched helplessly
‘Does he mean…’
Hyunjin also heard what Taehyung said. He looked at Jungkook and saw the blank look on him. he might have won the race, but he did not seem happy.
he seemed embarrassed after being rejected in public.
Hwang Hyunjin
(He scratched his head and said)
“Oh shucks. I forgot to tell you about this. I’m sorry, little sir. Why don’t you bring me next time? I’ll—”
Taehyung stared at Hyunjin, and his abysmal gaze looked somewhat colder.
Hyunjin shuddered and turned around curiously. All he saw was Taehyung waving at Jungkook.
Kim Taehyung
“Let’s go, I’ll bring you home.”
(He sounded flat but determined.)
Jungkook Might have something to say about his opinion earlier, but he had helped him win a few times more of the original prize money.
For the sake of money, he did not want to be calculative.
Just when he was about to walk over, Jiang Fan’s voice sounded behind him.
Jungkook
(He turned around.)
Jiang Fan
“You won’t win so easily next time!”
(He was an arrogant man. His loss today had put him to shame, so he ought to regain the respect he lost.)
Jungkook wanted to reject the man, but Taehyung spoke first.
Kim Taehyung
“No more next time. he’s in his third year, he doesn’t have time to play with you people.”
Jiang Fan
(He was embarrassed once again.)
Jungkook joined the race just for the money. he did not plan to be a regular either.
he did not argue with what Taehyung said.
Jhope
(He snapped his fingers and said) “Let’s go, Little Jungkook.”
Jungkook followed Jhope and Taehyung back. Hyunjin headed in a different direction, so he left in his own transport.
The car drove into the inner city.
It was almost 11:00 p.m. The street was filled with cars and bright neon lights.
Taehyung was in the passenger seat while Jungkook sat in the backseat with his bag.
It was quiet along the way until they arrived at the Lee family’s mansion.
Kim Taehyung
“The mockup papers that I gave you, I’ll come to check them regularly.”
Jungkook
(He looked at him with an unbelievable gaze.)
Kim Taehyung
(He did not realize what was wrong and said in a lazy tone)
“Oh and you’re still young. Try not to go out at night, and no puppy love is allowed.”
Jungkook cursed him a few times in his heart, but since he was still in debt to him, he did not argue.
Jungkook
“Got it.” <he left.>
Jhope
(He watched him walk into the mansion before looking at Taehyung.)
“Tsk, you’re really trying to get yourself killed.”
It was late, but the Lee family’s mansion was still bright.
Jungkook opened the door
Son Ye-jin was sitting on the sofa with a sour look on her face. She raised her voice and questioned Jungkook

“Look who’s finally back.”
