Everyone in the hall are wearing their expensive get up. Luxurious outfits and accessories. But in this hole of richness, there is only one person that caught my attention the start. It’s none other than, my target, Nicolai Luciano.

Though everyone looks powerful and rich, he stands out so much and it seems that we became average looking. Not that he wore the most expensive watch and suit. He just had this intimidating aura surrounding him, that makes him the most powerful among us.

Everyone greeted him with respect, no one dared blacking his way. All the elite have become fearful puppies and would lick their master’s foot. They’re acting like this to him, know that he is Damien Kotch. What more if they knew that he is Nicolai Luciano.

He is truly, intimidating. No, he is beyond terrifying. Heck, Ford fought an uneasy target.

Guards surrounds him so it is not easy to approach him, I must find a way to at least let him notice me.

“Miss Walton, it’s been so long since I last met you. How are you?” a guy who I don’t recognize approached me and offered a handshake. I hesitated and took it in the end. Dang, I should remember all the people I interact with when I’m portraying my other identities.

“Hahaha, don’t be shy. I understand that you don’t recognize me. I’m Victor. We met last year in a fashion competition. Although my design lost, I still admired you” so he is Victor, huh? He talks so much, that’s why I kept myself away from him in the past and would rather not remember him.

He kept on blabbering and I just kept my eyes on Nicolai, pretending that I am fully aware of what he is discussing with me.

“Hello, miss Walton? You seemed to take fancy on him, huh? I noticed that you kept on staring at him and you are not actually paying attention to my words. But I can’t deny that he is really a true beauty. Many women fall for him, but he is famous for being a thot repellent. No one has ever touched him. But judging by your talent and beauty, maybe you’ll have a chance with him” he said as he poked my waist. Dang he is noisy.

“Ladies and gentlemen. We will now start the charity program. But first, let me call the one who held this charity program to give us a short speech before we start. Everyone, please give him a round of applause, mister Damien Kotch” the emcee called and everyone started clapping. The young man walked towards the stage and sthe potlight is on him. So my target is actually the one who prepared this charity event.

“I want to make this quick. The reason I held this program is to help the needy while we keep ourselves company. Hope that everyone makes acquaintances and have fun” he said and gave the microphone back to the emcee. Wow, that is indeed quick. Though, his message is meaningful. He still has this monotone that completes his identity. A silent and cold businessman who actually is a fierce mafia. But I don’t really know his reason for making such event? He is a mafia boss. He doesn’t care for the needy, I guess?

“Now the charity event has officially started. Let’s all have a great time” everyone greeted and cheered. They seem to be anticipating this event. Maybe to get a chance to have a new business partner?

My eyes were locked on Nicolai who is now surrounded by different people. His bodyguards are surrounding him so there are still no people who can get near him.

It’s been an hour but I still can’t figure out how I can approach him privately. I must not act recklessly, so I need to be patient and wait for the perfect time.

“Good evening everyone? Are you all having a good time?” the crowed shifted their attention to the emcee who started talking out of nowhere. They all answered and the guy continued. “It’s great that you are all having fun. But now we will start the main event of this program. The auction!”

There is an auction being held. It seems that no one is informed and everyone is shocked.

“It is a great surprise, isn’t it? Do you think that you have enough money to purchase the items will offer?” the emcee laughed. Some people got their phone and called their assistants to send them money. How funny to see that. Well, I’m not really interested in this auction. My goal here is to enchant that mafia boss.

“Hey, Heather. Want to participate in the auction? I’m really shocked to know about the auction. Good thing my assistant send me my money. What do you think about the goods they’ll offer? I bet they are a true treasures. It is Damien Kotch we are talking about, after all,” dang, the noisy guy returned. How did he saw me? I’m totally swimming in the sea of people. He has sharp eyes.

“Is everyone ready?”

“Yes!” the crowd cried and finally, the auction started.

The first item they presented didn’t really piques my interest. Well we already have such rare katana at home. No need to buy a new one.

The crowd went crazy for it and the winner won it for half a billion. Seriously, where does he think he’ll use such a thing? Unless he is an assassin or a part of mafia who really needs a deadly weapon.

The auction continues and everyone is excited. I kept my eyes on Nicolai whose bodyguard are still surrounding him.

I really need to act now or else I won’t have a chance to do so. I have a feeling that the event will be finished unless that auction is done.

I need to act. But how? Dang, if this is a normal assassination where I can kill him right off the bat, that would be much easier than enchanting a thot repellent guy.
