“I would take this red dress please” I pointed at the red dress that caught my attention from the very beginning. “You have a really good eye, miss Heather. This dress cost over a hundred thousand. It is made by---“ “Fool! I am a fashionista. I know that already. Now please shut up and I’ll take this” she just nodded and nervously took the dress and packed it for me.

“Calm down, Deborah baby. I called you to tell you something important. It’s my fault for forgetting such important information” he placed his hands under his chin and looked at me seriously.

“What is it?”

“Next week, there will be a charity event held by the Kotch company. I want you to meet him there. I actually have another plan. Not a simple assassination you’re used to. It’s the reason why it’s you I hired” he said while playing with his beard like he always used to do.

“And why is that?”

“Hahaha. I want you to kill him painfully. By painful, I mean torture his heart” he burst out laughing and stared at me. “Deborah, baby. You are undeniably gorgeous. “Why bother doing the long process when I can just kill him in the very beginning. You’re just wasting both of our time, Ford. I don’t have time for your silly games” I glared at him. What does he think this assassination is? Just a game?

“Hey hey, You’re my client remember? I already paid for you. In fact, if you satisfy me with your performance, I’ll increase your payment. But admit it, Deborah baby, isn’t it fun to have a little game in your assassination? Aside from taking him down for business, I want revenge. That’s why I want him to suffer by broken heart”

Although he seemed to be insane to come up with such ideas, I guess I can’t hide the excitement I’m feeling. The moment I saw his name on that piece of paper, I felt this excitement overflowing me. I’m totally ready for this assassination.

“So you really want to do this, huh? Not a bad idea, right? Just remember, Minerva. Your mission is not to kill Nicolai just yet. You need to make him suffer first. You must love the mafia boss” I nodded as a response and head out the room.

“ ‘Me lady, do you think it’s necessary to do what he said?” Liam asked while driving. “Well, I can’t ignore his words, he’s my boss after all. But I think I’ll have fun doing this assassination. I’ll be fine, don’t worry” Liam kept silent as he trusted my words.

After wearing my dress and putting on my shoes, I took out my makeup and fixed myself as Heather. Tonight, he’ll meet, Heather. And I swore to give him a good time.

While fixing myself, I can’t help but remember Ford’s words. “Make sure not to fall for him too. Or else, you’ll suffer the consequences. After all, your target is a mafia boss. It’s not a walk on the park, Minerva”
