chap 8. Why can't she marry me?

I go up the stairs to the bedrooms with the other girls we all together enter in one bedroom. We start chatting and picking out swimsuits before heading out.

I wore a black one peace with a cross-over neckline and an open back.

Walking down stairs with a towel around me I head to the living room to everyone still talking and having fun.

When they look at me, I signal them that I'm finished, and we can head out.

As we head out I hear a knock at the door.

"I'll get it" I yell behind them quickly grabbing my phone from the counter and running to the door.

Opening it I'm greeted by Michaël standing with a big smile holding up the dress I suppose is for me.

Acting like I don't see him I look around muttering a quiet 'no ones here'.

As I'm about to close the door his hand holds it open.

"Come on are you really going to pretend like I'm not here because I'm pretty sure I didn't die on the way here"

"I thought someone else was going to bring the dress...not you"

"And what made you think that?" he raises his eyebrow.

"I don't know maybe the almighty Mr Armano was to busy and just wanted to be in his office" I nonchalantly reply.

"Nah it's been a little quiet at the office...can I come in"

Looking around I see that the others are already outside probably almost at the lake.

"Uh yeah but I have company so leave as soon as you can" I turn around walking to the living room hoping the others don't come inside.

But of course my hopes wouldn't be answered this time.

As I sit down I look at Micha signaling him to bring the dress over. That's when backdoor that is connected to the kitchen decides to swing opens and in walks Annie.

One of my friends that used to try and get between me and Micha when we were young.

I know it's weird that I'm still friends with her but what can I say I have a 'kind heart'.

Looking at her and then at Micha I try to utter words, but non were coming out.

As Annie watched Micha closely trying to register that he was actually standing there.

She practically launched on him, but I quickly stood up to hold her back. Trying to grab her wrists to stop her from swinging any punches.

"woah, woah Anni calm down" I try my very best to hold her back.

"What the f**** is he doing here"

"Hey that's rude am I not welcome here" Micha adds to the chaos.

I give him the 'really helpful' face.

When I let go of Anni thinking she calmed down.

My thinking was quickly answered when a vase flew past my face straight towards Micha.

Luckily he was fast enough to dogde making the vase crash into the wall behind him.

Creating a loud crashing sound.

Hearing the sound of faint running getting closer hinting that the others heard the noise and were probably coming back I try to quickly go to Micha and bring him outside or at least try to hide him but it was minutes too late because the next second the backdoor shoots open.AGAIN.

Looking back my eyes meet with Jayden and then the others.

"Uh… Hey guys how you doing" I say trying to cover up the tension.

"C what's he doing here" Keanen partially yells while scanning Michael.

"Uhh..." I turn around to look at Micha just to see him looking down at me with a smirk.

'this bitch'

"He just came to drop off something for tomorrow" I say trying to compose myself.

"What is tomorrow" Allan is now the one to speak.

"uh.so tomorrow there will be this event that he will have to attend and..." I hesitate.

"And what does HIS event have anything to do with you" both Keanen and Allan say at the same time.

I slightly flinch hearing their voices.

"uhm I was going to look for a better time to tell you guys about this but.."

"but what?" Keanen ask.
