chap 6. my friends(family)

"Okay" is all I hear before entering the quiet house.

Walking through the quiet house I make my way to the kitchen. Opening the fridge I grab an energy drink because I haven't asked someone to restock the fridge with beer for me. And yes I have a fridge only dedicated for beer and alcohol beverages.

Hearing the front door open I see Jayden making his way towards the kitchen.

"The others are on their way Allan will be a little late and so will Keanen they have a meeting, soon so it will take them awhile, but the rest are on their way, and most should arrive in about forty min" Jayden explains precisely as if it's his work.

"Hmm okay, so now you come with me, and we'll go out to buy some food and supplies before those hungry beasts arrive and decorate this place a little it looks dead not gonna lie" I look at him and smile.

"It does. Come on let's head out the others have the key, so they should be fine"

The lake house is a place I bought for me and my friends to have a place to go to if we wanted to escape from the outside world I bought it as a gift for all of us we all had our own bedroom and had our own key to the house, so it was always here with open arms for us.

"Yeah let's go" I say grabbing Jayden by the arm and dragging him 'against' his will.

Stepping outside we're greeted by fresh air before going into the car this time Jayden is the one driving.

While I just stared out the window the car right was peaceful we sang to songs laughing and chatting back to the old besties we were.

Arriving at the store we head in and buy almost the entire store not sure if we are going to use all the supplies we bought but after ten minutes we make our way out of the store and make our way to our next stop which is the restaurant that our friends and I grew up in. Walking in we are greeted by the grandma that owns the place we greet her and order our food.

While waiting we chatted with her and the employees there that were on break not wanting to distract the others who are working.

After fifteen minutes the food was done, and we thanked everyone and headed out to our final destination which is back to the lake house.

Arriving we see some cars already parked in front of the house signaling that some of them had already arrived.

Walking to the house with most of the stuff we could carry we hear shouting we run inside and see Angelina and Emily so called 'fighting'. It's their meeting ritual we guessed.

"angi, Emi I do not want to interrupt but help" They both look at me before running to me and hugging me making me suffocate like always.

"Sage!! We missed you so much you know how out of the blue it felt when Jay called to tell is you wanted to host a party for us to reunite" Emily says happiness technically radiating from her.

"Yeah yeah but can you let me breath"

"oh my bad" they both say letting me go

"I missed you guys to it's just been a lil busy sorry"

"I'm going to stay here acting like I have no worth" Jayden say all sassed up.

"JAYDEN?!" They run up to him almost squishing him into a pancake.

"Ok now I would have rather wanted to act like I was worthless" he says in-between breaths. Or if you can call it a breath.

"Okay come on let him go" I say to them.

"Can you two help grab the rest of the food while I work on the place.

They all nod before running out of the house. Their like little kids even though most of them own their own company and some already have a boyfriend.

My friend group is just build out of a bunch of kids.

Walking to the dinning table to place the stuff and start working on the place.

After about twenty I finished decorating most of the place with help of the other three who were playing around most of the time.

By the time we completely finished everything everyone had arrived. The only two missing now were Allan and Keanen.
