My name is Dionysus, King of the werewolves.

Merciless and cruel.

I am 650 years old, but with the face of a 37-year-old.

Tanned, with green eyes, 220 pounds of pure muscle. Covered in tattoos, I scare even my own shadow.

Today we have another pack to visit, I am on a relentless search for my mate. I have been looking for her for years, if I don't find her, I will have to put a queen in her place and it's something I don't want.

I feel my wolf stirring inside my head, my wolf screams 'Mine' and I waste no time and invade the house, which is still on fire.

I run everywhere without feeling anyone's presence in the house, but I grab a piece of clothing that is on top of a chair and I get out of there.

"Sir, please don't do that, you could have gotten burned."

I bring the shirt to my nose and smell the most delicious scent I could ever smell.

I look at the couple hugging, and I walk up to them, and the woman cries.

"She's not in there, are you her parents?"

"No, sir, she's just a friend."

"I need you to help me find her."

"Sir, I'm sorry, if she's not in there, she's probably already left town."

"How could she leave? Why would she leave?"

The alpha comes up to me and tries to explain.

"Sir, this woman was cursed, sir, she brought all the tragedy to our pack, if she left we are free."

They laugh in a way that disgusts me.

"Stop laughing, it's not her fault you hate her, you made her leave."

I look at the woman in her husband's arms and ask her to explain why all this happened.

"And why did she leave? Tell me everything."

"You, Alpha John, were supposed to take care of her, no matter what she is or was, you were put in this position to protect, to care for, and watch over our kind, AND I, AS KING AND ALPHA ABOVE YOU, NOW DECLARE YOU NO LONGER ALPHA OF THIS PACK AND SHALL RECEIVE THE SENTENCE OF DEATH."

Everyone in the place screams in despair, but I don't care, what they did to my mate will be paid for in blood.

"Marco, come and immediately carry out the sentence on the former alpha."

"Yes, my lord."

Marco is my chief of the royal guard, when he grabs John by the neck others try to help but I roar with my dominance and everyone falls to their knees.

"Now if anyone tries to help him again, Marco, you can kill them too."

"Yes, my king."

Marco makes him kneel before me and breaks John's neck, those who are near hear the alpha's connection to his pack break, his Luna immediately senses her mate's death and screams, she tries to attack me but with one hand I break her neck and there ends the legacy of the alpha of the Light pack.

"ENZO, I now declare you the new alpha of the Light pack."

Enzo looks at me and sits down.

"My woman is missing, now I want everyone looking for her, she shouldn't be far away."

I spoke roaring with hatred for these people who abused my woman, that's why in my dreams she begged me to find her.

"Fred, pack our things, we're leaving here to look for her in five minutes."

He and some soldiers ran off to pack our things.

I lift my nose in the air and sniff but all I can smell is smoke.
