Chapter 8 Strange feelings

As school is over Marie was by the gate waiting for Tara since she said she would pick her up to hang out.

Marie was waiting but saw Luke Goldman walking past. She smelt his minty fresh scent and her cheeks turn rosy as she fidget while looking at his departing back. Her heart racing but she snapped out of it as she heard Tara." Marie are you okay?".

"Huh, um Yeah sorry", Marie said blushing while thinking.(what was that) as she placed her hand on her heart in a daze.

"Okay but stop looking like your in love". Tara said with a chuckle as she teased and she grabbed Marie's hand and said.

"Enough distractions. Let's go have some fun". Marie looked at Tara and smiled while nodding.

Whole day they went to food stalls and played games at the Gaming Arcade.

As the sun is setting Marie said her goodbyes to Tara and as she walked into her home and tiredly upstairs to her room and fell in a deep sleep smiling.

Time skip Next day

Since finding out her project partner is Luke. Marie has been feeling strangely nervous about it.

During Interval, she found the courage to walk up to him. Even If she is nervous of talking to him. She has to since it's for the project and a good grade.

"Hey um Luke. About the project". She tried to say but surprised as she heard his cold voice. "Yeah. Meet me in the Library at the back corner this afternoon".

She watched him leave as she looked down and shocked he didn't ignore her. But she shook such thoughts.

Time skip Afternoon

Marie walked into the Library as she went to the location and saw a sleeping Luke.

"Luke".She softly spoke as she try to wake him up.But he isn't budging.Marie looked at his sleeping face and blushing as her eyes stare at his perfect features.Slowly to his soft black kirly short hair, eyebrows,nose and down to his kissable lips.

Heart pounding as her throat felt dry and her hand unconsciously approached his face, but got slapped away as cold eyes stare at her.

"I-I a-am so-sorry I just wanted to wake you up". She turned red like a tomato as she shy stuttering while nervous and a bit scared.

Thinking to herself.(shameless idiot Marie) she scolded herself of why she did that.

Her hand turned red as she rubbed it.He looked fiercer as he looked like he wanted to say something but sigh feeling not wanting to waste energy.

"Doesn't matter let's get started", He said coldly wanting to get done and over with this task.

Marie and him started going over ideas first.

Time skip

They are almost done. As they packed up and Luke turned lighting a cigarette as he said before leaving with his cold voice." You're not bad when it come to using your brain".

Marie blushed as hot steam come out of her ears and as even though it was a cold little compliment she felt strangely hot when she heard it.

"He complimented me". She mumbled as her heart kept racing out of her chest.
