Chapter 4- Is that a GIANT?

It was a sunny day, not too hot nor too cold I would say the perfect day for going on a climbing expedition. I call Jon to ask where we could go because of the free time I had before my next book to be published and I was not in the mood to write anything at all. He suggested the mountain range which is right under Mount Futaki. Mount Darvice is a long region of mountains a little larger then a hill. It was the best place to go for a climb.

Nearly an hour or two later we all arrived there. The people who came were Jon, his wife Julia, Jack Drake one of Jon's close friend and a famous mountain explorer experienced in staying over night at mountains and lastly Ruby Drake, Jack's sister. This hick will take about 2 to 3 days. We started to walk up the path made for travelers we came did many thinks. We sang songs, talked about the creatures and plants we came across on our way up. We were not really sacred as this was one of the safest areas of Dread Falls. We set up a camp as the sun went down and set a bon fire. Jack asked me if I wanted to go collect mushrooms for dinner. Well why would I say no, we go out to mountains to have fun and eat natural things.

Will looking for the mushroom Jack told me about I saw a shadow pass by. I said to my self "Could it be a Mountain lion". I mean the mountains near Mount Darvice was have mountain lions or so I have heard. I went back to talk to Jon and all about what I saw. Jack said "Oh, it's nothing don't worry about it". We all went inside the tent because of how anxious I looked. Soon we heard a *smash*. We ran out to see what it was and it was a human like creature covered in fur. Ruby got freaked out and let out a loud scream. The creature got scared and started running, but it fell then started crying by a child. Jack ran to it and gave it some fruits and it stopped crying. We were a bit late though it's mother came charging at us. It let out a loud scream similar to a human's scream. It soon stopped at seeing Jack and we were a bit shock seeing it act friendly.

Jack then explained to me that these were a species of Yeti thet lives at a lower altitude the the average Yeti. I asked about how he was able to tame such creatures. To which he said "They follow who ever helps them and I was a bit scared at first as well. I am extremely sorry to not tell about them I just wanted to keep this creatures safe". We all said together " It's fine". But, Jack got a bit of..... ok leave it. We completed the hick with the I will say Brown Yeti and return home safly.
