The days that followed were agonizing for Camellia and Leo. They struggled to maintain their composure around Yohan, constantly worrying about the danger he was in and the NIS's ability to keep him safe.
Camellia found herself constantly on edge, jumping at every unexpected sound or movement. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to go terribly wrong.
"I just don't understand why the NIS can't do more to protect him," she confided to Leo one evening, her voice laced with frustration. "Yohan deserves to know the truth, and he deserves to feel safe in his own home."
Leo sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I know, Camellia. But you heard what Agent Kang said – they're doing everything they can to keep Yohan safe, and revealing the truth to him could put him in even greater danger."
Camellia shook her head, her brow furrowed. "But what if their plan doesn't work? What if they're wrong, and Yohan ends up getting hurt because of their inaction?"
Leo reached out and squeezed her hand, his expression somber. "I know it's hard, but we have to trust that the NIS knows what they're doing. They're the experts, and they're the ones who can actually protect Yohan."
Camellia sighed, her shoulders slumping. "I just wish there was something more we could do."
As the days turned into weeks, Camellia and Leo continued to watch Yohan with growing concern. They noticed the way he seemed to be constantly on edge, his eyes darting around nervously as if he was expecting danger to strike at any moment.
One evening, as they were all gathered in Yohan's apartment, Camellia couldn't hold back her worry any longer.
"Yohan, is everything okay?" she asked, her voice laced with concern. "You seem... on edge lately."
Yohan's eyes widened, and he quickly averted his gaze. "Oh, it's nothing, really. I've just been a little stressed with work, that's all."
Camellia exchanged a worried glance with Leo, and she could see the same concern reflected in his eyes.
"Yohan, you know you can talk to us, right?" Leo said, his voice gentle. "We're your friends, and we want to help."
Yohan hesitated, his expression conflicted. "I... I don't know, you guys. I don't want to burden you with my problems."
Camellia reached out and placed a hand on his arm, her eyes filled with empathy. "Yohan, you're not a burden. We care about you, and we want to be there for you."
Yohan's eyes glistened with unshed tears, and he finally nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Okay, I... I'll tell you."
As Yohan recounted his fears and the constant sense of unease he had been feeling, Camellia and Leo listened with growing horror. They could see the toll it was taking on their friend, and they felt powerless to help.
"Yohan, why didn't you tell us sooner?" Camellia asked, her voice trembling.
Yohan shook his head, his expression pained. "I didn't want to worry you. I thought I could handle it on my own."
Leo reached out and placed a hand on Yohan's shoulder, his eyes filled with empathy. "Yohan, you don't have to handle this alone. We're here for you, no matter what."
Camellia nodded, her expression resolute. "That's right, Yohan. We're in this together, and we're not going to let anything happen to you."
Yohan's eyes widened, and he looked between his two friends, a glimmer of hope in his gaze. "You... you really mean that?"
Camellia and Leo both nodded, their expressions unwavering.
"Of course we do, Yohan," Camellia said, her voice filled with conviction. "We're not going to let the NIS or anyone else put you in harm's way."
Yohan's expression shifted, and a newfound determination seemed to settle over him. "Okay, then. I trust you, both of you. What do we-
