Jungkook was now in a stable condition thanks to Dong Wook who was there with him consoling the young soul. No matter how brave Kook wants to be for the world, his vulnerable side always comes up for his close ones. And this was his greatest mistake in previous life. He thought Karina and Jae Wook as his close ones and got betrayed by them in a brutal way. He took oath this time that he will not trust those vicious snakes.

Kook was sitting beside Dong Wook when the door got opened and the doctor came out. He informed the duo that Jimin was safe and there was a light bruise on his neck which will fade away with time. He informed them that he had bandaged the area and given some medicines to the boy and asked him to take some rest. Furthermore, he strictly warned Jimin to not put stress on his vocal cords.

Both got inside and saw Jimin was sleeping there, a huge bandage covering his neck. Kook sat on the stool beside him and slowly stayed to caress his hand with his thumb. He was internally thanking God for not snatching this precious treasure from him. He turned around a little and saw his grandpa standing beside him. Kook got up from his seat to offer it to him but before that someone knocked on the door and came inside.

Kook was not expecting that person to arrive at that time. It was his father Jeon Hyun Bin. Hyun Bin looked expressionless as he was not worried about anything but from inside he was a little surprised to see his ex father-in-law standing with his son. He had come here because the principal called him to inform that Jungkook got badly hurt and was admitted in hospital, but seeing standing there all good, he was angered to death because he came here after disturbing his family breakfast. He initially didn't want to come here on an empty stomach but he came here on Karina's order who asked his appa worriedly to check on his oppa if he was fine or not.

Kook is afraid of his father that's why he can't speak confidently in front of him. The reason behind it was that Hyun Bin blindly trusts his daughter Karina. Therefore, whenever she pushed the blame of her doings to Kook, Hyun Bin used to beat Kook very harshly. Locking him in a dark basement, starving him for days, not letting him go out for weeks, beating him with the things whichever came in his hands. Sometimes the punishment goes so severe that Kook would not come out of his room for days and harm himself because of the trauma.

Kook's whole body was trembling due to fear, although he did nothing wrong right now but the fear for his father had become a habit for him. He can't speak confidently in front of him no matter how hard he tries.
