Jungkook couldn't believe his grandfather was sitting in front of him with the principal discussing something. He knows that his grandfather was one of the trustees of this school, but he never saw him in the school before. Moreover, he never had met him personally also in his previous life. He had only seen him on TV, news channels or in the business parties of influential families from afar. It's like he was missing some memories from the past or something has changed due to his time travel.

On the other hand Jungkook's grandfather had come here for some work and decided to visit the school as well. But he was surprised when one of the teachers came inside the room with the boy beside him. The thing which surprised him was that he heard a familiar name. The teacher informed the principal that the guy standing with him had beaten the guy whose name was familiar with him.

He knows how her beloved daughter was snatched from him by those cunning wolves. He used to love her so much and wanted to fulfill her wishes. But when she said to him that she wants to marry her lover aka Jeon he was furious and denied her wish on the spot. He denied but never caged her and that was his first mistake because she ran away and got married to her lover. That day he searched for her like a mad man, furious yet scared about her safety. But when next day she arrived at his place again and told him that she got married, he felt betrayed by her own daughter. He thought that the price he got paid with when he took care of her for all these years so that she could go against him like that.

He didn't say a word to her but closed his house's door in front of her face, refusing to meet her. He instructed the guards that she and her husband were not allowed to enter his house again. Years of pain suppressing in his heart for his beloved daughter who left him and his wife was bubbling up in his mind. But he never ever again talked about her until one day he got to know that she died due to cancer. He was regretting, regretting very badly, why didn't he talk to her before? Why didn't he see her for the last time? But all that was left were regrets.

When he and his wife went to say his last goodbye to his one and only precious daughter, he saw his vicious son-in-law crying while flowing rivers on her deathbed. He wanted to see her grave but the guilt of separation from her was killing him from inside therefore he didn't meet anyone and came back home. Till now, he never interfered and heard anything about Jeons like he had completely cut off his ties from Jeons, not knowing if they are alive or not. He also doesn't know if he had grandchildren or not, because at the time of the funeral he didn't interact with anyone or see any kids around. And till now he was not interested to know about any of them also. But when he heard the name Jeon Jungkook and the boy entered the principal's room. He didn't know, but there was an uneasy feeling going inside his heart.

He turned his head to see a boy of merely 15-16 standing there, his head bandaged, little bruises visible on his face, and arms, his doe eyes glossy and fluffy maybe because he cried before coming here and his clothes disheveled a bit, teared from the sides. He resembled a person a lot, to the person who was his lifeline and very precious to him. Not only that, but he looked very familiar, his facial features making an illusion that he was seeing that person in front of him. That person was one other than his beloved daughter, who passed twelve years ago.

Seeing him standing there in front of him, he wanted to know about the boy more. And he don't know why but seeing him hurt in that condition was making his heart bleed. He was about to say something when the boy cut him off by greeting the principal without making eye contact with anyone.
