DUTIES
The sun rose and shone through the curtains making me wake up. I opened my eyes and panicked set in me.
I looked around then remembered I was now in my husband's house.
I didn't change my dress last night and slept in my wedding dress.
I looked at the room and admired it. It was not like my old room which was in my parents house. This room was bigger than my old room.
I looked around and saw my suitcase and opened it. I took my dress out of it.
Mom did a little shopping for me because they wanted to show the world they were treating me right.
I went in the washroom and did my
business and changed into that dress.
I debated on whether I should go down or not but went down.
I looked around and saw no one was here
I went into the kitchen and saw a maid. I greeted her and she greeted me.

Goodness Gracious, you are so beautiful dear
I blushed on her compliment. No one ever compliments me in good way so this was something new to me.

French toast and scrambled eggs
She answered and I asked her to
give ingredients.
Annet {Maid}
You are going to cook breakfast?
She asked in return I nodded my head.
I picked up and wore an apron which was in the kitchen and also tied my hairs up in a bun.
I made breakfast for him and hoped that he may like it, but last night came to my mind.
His words which again hurt my heart.
I placed breakfast on the table and waited for him to come down over here.
When he entered the dinning hall I was again awe stuck.
He looked incredibly handsome
which made me not to take my eyes off of him.
He ignored me and sat on the head of the table and looked at breakfast.
I turned around and took a step to go back in the kitchen when his voice stooped me,

Where are you going?
I shivered at his cold voice.
I felt my hands trembling, and I turned around and slowly looked at him.

I simply whispered looking down
at the floor.

My heart fluttered hearing him "with me,"
My heart was beating so fast hearing him as he said that with a straight face.
I slowly sat on the chair on the right side of him and looked at him who took the first bite and sat in surprise.

These questions made me shake in fear.

He said frustrated making me shut my rambling and started eating again without a word.
I slowly filled my plate and ate breakfast looking at him through my eyelashes
He was bipolar and arrogant and easily got angry.
When he left for his office, I washed all the dishes which Aunt Annet didn't like, but I waved it off.
After this I explored the house and found a library here, which piqued my interest so I got in and saw few books
Lastly stood in front of the last room which I knew belonged to him because I hadn't seen his room and this was the last one.
I slowly turned the knob and went inside. His room was all the combination of black, gray, white and a few more shades of black.
I saw his pictures on the wall in which he looked happy unlike now where he was all angry man.
I touched the picture in which he looked young, and smiled looking at the camera.
I smiled looking at his picture and it got hard not to fall for him. I felt my heart clench thinking he will never love me back
I was waiting for him to come back home.
I looked at the dinner which I made then looked at the clock. It was getting late, but he hadn't returned home.
I heard the voice of the car and my face lit up. I went in the hall and saw him enter the house looking tired.
He stopped looking at me and asked,

What are you doing at this time?

Waiting for you. Come to the dining hall. Dinner is ready
Mason Russell
Waiting? Didn't I tell you that you are not my wife and this whole relationship is a compromise to me
Mason Russell
And never do this again and think that I will give you your rights which a husband gives to his wife.
I felt my heart broke after hearing this, but I masked up my emotions.

With this I turned around leaving him

He entered the dinning hall and sat on his chair and ate in silence.
I didn't look up at him and had a hard time controlling my tears.
After washing dishes I entered in my
room and sat on the floor with my back against the bed and my diary in my hands.
I opened an empty page of my diary and started writing again.
Why will someone wait for me?
Waste their life for me?
For whom am I special?
Why will someone remember me?
Dear Diary,
Look where I am. In the house of my husband who thinks of this marriage as a Compromise but does he know that this whole wedding is not a game. We both are lawfully wedded and God paired us together but no he doesn't care.
Today he said never to demand my rights as a wife. In the morning he gave me hope. A hope, that maybe this wedding will work, but now it's shattered.
Today was the first day of my wedding life, but see what happened. I am not angry at him. I am upset. Upset on myself to let myself fall for him. Tell me one thing, is it a bad thing to fell for my husband who doesn't want me?
