I Am An Unwanted I DO

Amaira's POV

I sat in front of the mirror, staring at the girl, who looked beautiful with makeup but her eyes were telling other story. She was sitting in white dress which had golden embroidery on it with a white veil pinned on her head.

I closed my eyes remembering last night incident.

I knocked on the door of dad's study.

Samuel Linton

Come in

I heard the voice from the other side of the door

I slowly entered the room, making him look up at me. He glared at me making me freeze on my spot

I don't... Want to… Do... This marriage

I stammered in fear.

He stood up in anger making me take a few steps back.

He stood in front of me and slapped me, making me close my eyes and press my lips together to stop crying.

Samuel Linton

If I hear this sentence again from you then the consequence will be very bad

He fumed in anger making me tremble in fear.

After this wedding don't you dare to come in this house or try to contact any of us because no one wants you here

His words made me freeze.

He said in stern and cold voice making me nod my head.

I opened my eyes and wiped the lone tear which fell from my eyes.

A few minutes later, someone entered my room and took me out of my room.

I was taken into the living backyard where few people were present.

The decorations weren't much, it was a simple aisle and a priest was standing over there

I was walked down the aisle by my dad

After that the ceremony started with me alone and no groom by my side

when the priest asked me this question, I was quiet

All the things since childhood started playing in front of my eyes

I was standing in the corner dusting the self, while my little brother was playing with toys.

He suddenly, accidentally broke an expensive vase, which mom loved.

He looked up at me and at the same time mom entered the living room.

She yelled and Asaph, my little brother pointed his finger at me making me look at them in shock.

Mom came and stood in front of me and slapped me twice on my both cheeks making me cry in pain.

You are worthless. How can you dare to touch my things? Do you know how expensive it was? Let your father come!

She said and again slapped me.

That day dad didn't say anything but warned me not to do anything again like that.

Priest

The priest asked me the question the second time but I didn't answer again.

I was still lost in my thoughts

I sat on my bed and stared out of the window when I heard dad calling me.

I quickly stood up and walked out of the room.

He was in his office and said once I entered

He said looking at the file in his hands

I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder when the priest asked last time.

I whispered thrice closing my eyes.

I was no more Amaira Samuel Linton, now I became Amaira Mason Russell

After the ceremony I was taken back in my room and changed my dress.

Beauticians did my makeup, but I didn't look up once at the mirror.

After that I was taken down then out of the house in the car.

I looked down at my hands the whole time and prayed for my future silently.

A few minutes later, the car stopped, and I was again taken out of the car and heard many clicks of camera, but I didn't dare to look up.

I felt someone stood beside me and put a hand on my back. The hand was rough yet warm making me feel safe for the first time in my life.

I looked up at the person who made me feel safe and stuck my breath. I felt my whole world stopped.

We both sat on the couch which was on the stage.

He was talking with someone and here again I was awe-stuck after hearing his voice.

His voice was cold which was giving me, shiver but for me it was melodic.

We both were sitting in a car, and he was driving, and I sat beside him, looking out of the window.

I was thinking again about my future, and thought maybe this was a start, a good start, maybe he was not like everyone else and he will never make me feel unwanted.

He opened the door of the car from his side and jumped out and closed the door with a loud voice making me feel scared.

I looked up and saw him going inside the house without me.

I opened the door with my trembling hands and stood up. I gently closed the door unlike him and slowly went inside the house hesitantly.

I had difficulty in carrying my dress.

The whole house was silent then I heard his voice
