A Fighter

Jasmine got up early and prepare to run with other

soldiers. Today will be the first day she will go undercover at a famous High

School in A City. She couldn’t believe herself doing this since she feels like

she is old already to be a High School Student. How can a 25-year-old woman act

like a teenager. She cringed to the thought of it.

Good morning , Colonel Gu. -  The soldiers saluted and greeted Jasmine. She

nodded her head as a response to them and they continued their morning run.

How was your sleep last night? – Jacob showed up behind

her.

Major General Lin! – Jasmine greeted him with a

salute. I slept well, I didn’t expect to be this comfortable getting back here

after a long time.

That’s good to know then. We will have a meeting at 7:00

with Hanford and his team with the commander.  Jacob then patted her on the shoulder indicating she has to be ready

with Hanford’s attack this time. He knew that the man won’t remain quiet since

he viewed Jasmine as an opponent not worthy to be with them. He thinks Jasmine

used her relationship and connection to get in a higher position but she has no

actual ability. Hanford is really blinded by jealousy thinking a woman can defeat

him.

Jasmine sighed knowing what she needs to face.

  Tsk. Tsk. I didn’t know the great Senior

Colonel Gu will really show up here. What a shame you will just finish what I started.

You just want to get credit for my success in this mission. A woman with no

capability should just stay home and serve her husband. Buh! I forgot nobody

would want to marry a dirty woman like you. – Hanford tried to provoke Jasmine.

Lieutenant Colonel Han, it seems like I need to Thank

you for giving me extra work to do.  –

Jasmine said. She then jogged past him to leave and not argue. She wants to

prepare all the things she needs to move in a dorm inside the school where she

will live for 3 weeks.

Show me what you got! Hanford shouted. I want to

challenge you and compete with you.

Jasmine looked back to see Hanford’s face clearly. She

then gave him a smirk. Aren’t you tired of challenging me and getting beaten

all the time? She retorted.

The other soldiers seem to notice a heated argument

between their two superiors and they started to gather around Hanford and

Jasmine.

Hanford laughed wickedly. Well, lets see what you got

now.

Since you want to fight me so bad, it would be a shame

to decline your invitation. Jasmine tidied up herself as if getting rid of an

imaginary dust and gave a cold smile to Hanford.

Don’t be so cocky! Let’s see if you will get lucky

this time. – Hanford said.

So how do you want to do this? Physical training or

fighting? Jasmine raised an eyebrow.

Fighting – Hanford answered. He then positioned

himself to give her a side kick.

Jasmine noticed what he planned to do and dodged his

attack. She then gave him a blow using her right fist. Today she will fight

back and show no mercy. She needs to silence this man once and for all. She

twisted her body and tried to hit him with a butterfly kick on his right leg.

He winched in pain but started to give her a blow by blow, punching harder. She

switched to defense so she won’t be hit. She did her counter attack and give

him a black eye, broken nose and bleeding lips.

Hanford got really angry and thought to himself that

he can’t lose face to this woman in front of the soldiers of A City. How can a

man like him be beaten by a woman?

He decided to keep attacking her fast but she knew his

plan. She got punched on the arm hard and she felt a sharp pain. Jasmine decided

to end the fight and not waste time anymore. She pounded on his head and give

it a hard kick which finally brought him down.

The soldiers started cheering for her.

She looked at Hanford who’s lying on the ground coldly.

I guess lady luck is on my side again today. She said.

She then started fixing her clothes and walked back to her room.

Hanford was left on the ground with anger burning in

his eyes. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists hard. Let’s see if you

will be lucky again next time. – He muttered.

Jasmine packed all the things she needed to move into

a dorm. She winched in pain when she moved her arm. After packing she put on a

jeans and basic tee and white sneakers on her feet. Now she really looked like

a teenage girl. Pulling her luggage she went to meet the Commander.
