They Meet Again

Leo and his friends stay in their box with few several

women.  This VIP box has always been

reserved for Leo.

Hey - what’s the matter this time with you? Eric Long

asked Leo. I thought you are really excited because your beloved Abby will be

back soon. What’s the matter this time? Are we celebrating for her return?

Leo just glanced at his friend.  He is thinking about the woman who bumped

into him outside the bar. He felt weird why he can’t get the woman’s face out

of his mind.

Your old man seems to want to kick you out soon. I heard

his been contacting several families looking for a wife for you.  I think you won’t be a bachelor for long. Derek

Xiao teased Leo. How about we get a beauty for you tonight.

Leo just shook his head.  He stood up to head to the restroom.

On the other side. Jasmine just got out of the

restroom and is heading back to Jacob when several men stopped her.

Hey, Miss Beautiful our boss wants you to join him.

The man wearing a black cap with several tattoos on his arm tried to reach

Jasmine’s face.

She dodged his touch and answered him. I’m sorry old

man. I have company and is waiting for me. Tell your boss I am not interested.

Another man tried to grab her left arm to drag her to

their box. She again dodged it and reached for the man’s right arm and twisted

it.

Hey I said I have company. Is it hard to understand?

She asked.

The man cried in pain. You bitch, let go of me.

All four men then tried to grab Jasmine. She lifted

her right leg and give a kick to the man with twisted arm. She moved quickly

and dodged the attack of all for men while the other man was lying on the

ground wincing in pain.

She knew karate. One man said. And he pulled a sharp knife

from his pocket.

Jasmine just smiled. She then said - Old man, I am not

really in the mood to exercise now because we are here to celebrate. I don’t want

to waste my time anymore. So just please let me go.

The man with a knife ran towards her and tried to stab

her but she dodged from his attack. She gave him a hard punch that send the man

a few meters from where Jasmine was standing. She was fighting all the other hooligans

without noticing somebody is watching her every move.

Leo smiled upon witnessing the scene of the woman fighting

several men. He can’t help but utter – How Interesting. The woman seems to be

trained to fight.  While the woman was

busy wrestling with the other guys the man laying on the floor stood up and

grabbed a knife in his pocket he then ran towards Jasmine.

Leo acted quickly and ran towards Jasmine to shield her.

Watch out! Leo shouted. He grabbed Jasmine and put her aside. The knife stabbed

his arm and blood started oozing from it.

The hooligans identified Leo and they got up to ran

away.

Shit! Leo muttered.

Jasmine was left speechless. When she heard the man

curse she was pulled back to her current state. She ran to the man and grabbed

his arm.

Oh, not to deep you won’t die from it. She said. She ripped

the lower part of his sleeve and used the cloth to tie his wound.

Thank you for saving me just now. She then bowed her

head. The wound isn’t too deep. It will only take you a week to heal. That man

used a sharp blade but luckily, he doesn’t know how to use it properly.

Leo got speechless. The woman is unbelievable. In his

view he can say that the wound is a little deep but she is right it won’t kill

him.

His thought got interrupted when Jasmine asked him if

he wants to go to the hospital.

He shook his head.

Well, since you won’t go to the hospital I will just

compensate you. How much do you want? She asked him.

I’m fine don’t worry about it. Leo said.

Well, sir since you are fine I’m leaving then. She

bowed again and left Leo dumbfounded.

Am I not attractive to her? Leo asked in his mind. She

seems not to know me and not to care about me. In A City, a lot of women showed

interest to him but he find the woman just now, unbelievable. She didn’t even

act charming in front of him. He shook his head. interesting woman. He muttered

again and went directly to the rest room. He dialed a number and asked someone

to clean up the mess just now and check the people involved.

Jasmine got back to her seat at the bar area where

Jacob waited for her.

What happened to you? I thought you ran away already. He

joked.

Jasmine whispered to his ear and told him what happened.

Jacob was shock and eyed her up and down.

I am okay. She said. You know I’m used to it.

Jacob reached her head and patted it.

Leo saw the scene of the man patting the head of the

woman. He then headed out and went to the hospital to have the wound cleaned.

Is he her boyfriend? He shook his head from the thought.

He never expected that he will be interested to any woman aside from Abby.

Maybe because it’s been too long already from the last time he’s been with a

woman. In the last three years nobody got his interest but the woman just now

is different. She didn’t even show him any interest or amazement about his

looks.

We will meet again. He muttered.
