Chapter 4
Mr Seo and Taejin met up earlier the following day and had breakfast together before they ventured into the busy day ahead, after paying for their coffee and breakfast the two drove off
It took an hour for them to reach their destination, Taejin parked the car and got out scanning his surroundings with a critical eye
It's been so long since he's been to Seoul and it was still as beautiful if not more as he remembered, the air was nice and fresh blowing on his face making him close his eyes and enjoy the moment
Mr Seo
Shall we head inside sir?
Kang Taejin
You go ahead Mr Seo I'll be right behind you, my secretary seems to be running a little late so I want to call and ask what's going on
Mr Seo
It's quite alright son, we're in no rush, make your call then we'll head inside
Kang Taejin
What's taking you so long hyung?
Minseok
I'm sorry Mr Kang, it been so long since I've been here that I got lost
He sounded embarrassed and out of breath like he had been running

Are you serious right now?
Minseok was sure he'd get fired for this but he really was telling the truth, he hasn't been to Korea since he was 12 and it looked very different than before
Taejin started to chuckle

Wow you're something else you know that, where are you right now?
Minseok
I don't really know myself but there's a Starbucks coffee shop in front of me
Minseok took a picture and sent it to Taejin

Okay, stay there for now, I'll come get you and turn on your location

Kang Taejin
Then should I leave you there? It's fine either way
Taejin's voice suddenly became cold sending chills down Minseok and Mr Seo's spine

I'm really sorry Mr Kang
God was this really how he'd lose his job?
Kang Taejin
I'm only kidding hyung so stop being stubborn and do as I say
His voice was back to normal
Mr Seo blinked his eyes confused
Taejin disconnected the call and turned to Mr Seo

My secretary happened to get himself lost, I'm sorry to ask you this but would you mind If I go and get him?
The older man shook his head

Thank you Mr Seo and I'm really sorry for this
Mr Seo
No problem son just do what you have too, I'll be inside in the meantime
Taejin nodded his head and lightly bowed to the man then went to his car

So exactly how did you end up getting lost in broad daylight?
Minseok looked away embarrassed to even make eye contact with his boss
Minseok explained his story and Taejin listened attentively then he busted out laughing, he couldn't help himself
Kang Taejin
I should give you a tour later on so this doesn't happen again
Minseok
So I'm not getting fired?
He finally made eye contact with Taejin
Kang Taejin
We all make mistakes and this is your first one so I don't see a point in being that heartless
Minseok
Thank you so much Taejin
Taejin smiled before he announced

We're here, I do hope you brought everything I asked for
Taejin nodded his head and took off the seat belt and got out of the car

The two went inside the building and found Mr Seo waiting for them

Mr Seo, I'm sorry for making you wait, this is my secretary and best friend Park Minseok
Minseok was left speechless, whenever Taejin introduced him to other people, he never forgot to mention that they were friends
Minseok shook the man's hand and apologized behalf of his lateness

No harm done Mr Park, seeing as we're all here let us begin the tour
Mr Seo lead them deeper into the massive building

It's spacious and will accommodate everything planned so far, the city view is a very nice

In many ways possible Mr Seo, which brings us to the contract
Minseok took out the papers and layed them on the table along with a pen
Taejin pushed the papers towards Mr Seo so he could read them but the man put his signature without even browsing through them
Taejin also signed the papers and put his stamp on making the building finally his at last

I look forward to seeing this building shinning, I wish you the best of luck and success son
Kang Taejin
Thank you sir, I promise you won't regret selling your building to us
Mr Seo nodded his head and shook Taejin's hand, he was happy he finally gave the building to him
Kang Taejin
I think this calls for a celebration so what do you say we get those drinks later on today Mr Seo?
Mr Seo was surprised that the young man really took him up on the offer he had made
It made him feel very special

I'd love too and I know just the place for that, I'll text you the location and we can meet up then
Kang Taejin
It settled then
He then turned to look at Minseok

If you'll have me then I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to get free drinks sir
Minseok had a smile on his face but the look on Taejin's face made his smile evaporate

Really now? And who said anything about there be free drinks hyung because I'd really love to make an appearance there and drink the place dry
Minseok blinked his eyes a few times

Now wait just a minute, you invited me and now you expect me to pay? Honestly speaking I think that a bit selfish of you Taejin
Minseok
And besides you have more income than I do, you're the bloody founder and Ceo of CNBLUE Entertainment
Minseok layed his complaints on the table
Taejin raised an eyebrow at him

Quite frankly I don't see how my income or status comes in this conversation but I think you're being very manipulating right now hyung

And you're older than I am so do you really expect me to pay? I should be the one getting treated and not the other way around
Minseok
This conversation is going nowhere, I was invited so heck no I'm gonna pay for you
Mr Seo was confused at how sudden the two started arguing about who would pay

No need to fight, I will pay seeing as I'm older than the both of you
Mr Seo suggested trying to break up the fight before it got out of hand
What he didn't know though was that it wasn't really a fight between the two, it was just how they behaved whenever they were hanging out together or when they had to decide who was going to pay
Minseok
No, no, no, Mr Seo
Minseok
Don't worry about it sir, I'm happy to pay so let's drink to our hearts content later on
Taejin nodded his head in agreement with what Minseok had said, he had won the battle
He had a huge smirk on his face at having won in manipulating Minseok to pay for the night
Minseok gave him a dead glare

Wow If looks could kill I'd be rolling in the grave by now

I feel really bad for the ones that don't know how the true Kang Taejin can be so manipulative
Taejin shrugged his shoulders making Minseok pout his lips
Mr Seo laughed outloud as he finally realized that they were teasing each other
They were a truly interesting duo and that only came to those who were really close to each other
Mr Seo
It must be nice being young
Minseok and Taejin drove to the location given by Mr Seo
They met the other man outside waiting for them
Minseok
You don't think we're overdressed do you Taejin?
He was scanning the people standing in the line and didn't find a single person in a suits, they all wore casual clothing making them both regret their dress code for the night
Mr Seo
Nonsense, everyone wears what they like here
Taejin and Minseok shared a look
Kang Taejin
I think I'm better off getting rid of these or I'll look uptight in the crowd
Taejin took off his jacket and tie, Minseok followed shortly behind finding it a great idea
After discharging the gadgets to the car they waited for their turn to be called inside
Taejin found that he liked this place more than he thought he would considering how crowded it was and he wasn't very fond of being surrounded by many people

I'm definitely coming here again next time, thank you for showing us this place Mr Seo

I'm glad you like it son
The rest of the night was full of surprises for Taejin, he saw a lot of new different things, he found it cool how the meals they ordered were prepared in front of them and was amazed by how the chef played with the food as he cooked it
He hasn't experienced a lot as he was always busy managing the company
Minseok was looking at his best friend and saw he was enjoying himself
Taejin was someone who never got to enjoy the basic things in life so seeing the different emotions that flash through his face whenever he saw the chef doing his tricks brought a smile to his face, Minseok had Mr Seo to thank for that
