ALONE PART 2.....
Upon arriving at the suite, I swiped the card and we entered. I placed some folders on the coffee table, observed the place, and headed towards the bedroom, which looked more like a honeymoon suite. I ignored this fact and returned to the living room.
Alicia was smiling, looking out of one of the windows, the wind blowing through her hair. I noticed she no longer had the nervous look she had in the car. I approached her and called out...
HEITOR: Alicia… __I called but got no response. She was so focused that she didn't even hear me__ Alicia __this time she looked at me, confused.
ALICIA: Oh, I'm sorry, sir. It's time. I'll just grab the folder with the documents so we can go. __She spoke, approaching the small table.
HEITOR: No, Alicia, that's not it. Well, I'm going out to resolve some other matters. Stay here and rest. If you need anything, call me. __I said, leaving the suite.
ALICIA GARCIA.......
I was still scared about returning to my old city. It brought back so many bad memories. When I learned that I would be staying in the same room as Heitor, I felt happy deep down. At least I wouldn't be alone... My God, what am I thinking?
The view from the window was beautiful. There was a platform with many plants and birds singing. It had already been an hour since Heitor left. When he left, I made sure to lock the door.... I was so afraid of Igor that, deep down, I felt like he could still do something to me. I went to the bedroom and almost freaked out. If Victoria were here, she would swear it was her idea. The room was all decorated as if it were to receive a couple for their honeymoon. I snapped out of my thoughts, went back to the kitchen, and prepared something to eat. I lay down on the sofa and looked at the time. It was 4:00 in the afternoon. I ended up falling asleep...
When I woke up, it was already 7:00 at night. My God, I slept for two hours straight without waking up! I noticed that Heitor still hadn't arrived. I grabbed my suitcase, opened it, took out some toiletries and a babydoll. I went into the bathroom and took a long shower. Minutes later, I came out and saw that Heitor was still not there. I looked at the bed and decided to lie down. I wasn't hungry. I picked up a book and decided to read until Heitor arrived...
Minutes after I started reading, I heard a noise and quickly got out of bed. I went to the living room but was met with a surprise...
IGOR: Did you miss me, baby? __He said, approaching me.
ALICIA: How did you get in here? __I asked nervously.
IGOR: That's the least of our worries. Now come here and satisfy my longing. __He said, trying to grab me.
In desperation, I ran to the bedroom and tried to close the door, but he pushed me along with it. He grabbed my arms and threw me on the bed.
ALICIA: IGOR... LET ME GO, LET ME GO... DON'T DO ANYTHING TO ME... LET ME GO, IGOR...
I started to scream desperately. Fear was consuming me again...
I heard a voice calling me, and I knew exactly who it was. I opened my eyes with difficulty and saw Heitor next to me. Without thinking twice, I jumped into his arms and started to cry.
This was my reality after Igor touched me: terror, fear, and hatred consumed me...
HEITOR: Calm down... Calm down, it was just a nightmare. __He said, carrying me in his arms.
I couldn't speak. I was traumatized. The dream felt so real that for a moment, I was afraid it would happen all over again... Heitor carried me to the edge of the bed and laid me down. I looked firmly into his eyes...
ALICIA: Please... don't... don't leave me here. __I said, sobbing and crying.
HEITOR: Calm down, I'm not going anywhere. I'm just going to get you a glass of water. __He said, leaving the room.
When he left, I came to my senses. I grabbed him, wearing only the babydoll, and jumped into his arms again.... What was I thinking?...
He returned to the room and handed me a glass of water...
HEITOR: There you go. Are you feeling better now? I'm just going to take a shower and then I'll come back and sleep in the living room, okay? __He said, taking the glass back.
I watched him open the suitcase and felt uneasy. This was his room, so why was he going to sleep in the living room? Besides, I was afraid of having that dream again...
ALICIA: Heitor… __I said, watching him look at me.__You don't have to sleep in the living room... What I mean is… you can sleep here. I mean, I can share the bed with you… I don't like to feel fragile or admit it, but I'm still scared. __I said, lowering my head.
HEITOR: Okay, don't worry. Nothing's going to happen to you. I won't leave you alone, ever again. __He said, lifting my chin… Wait, what did he mean by "I won't leave you alone, ever again?"
Heitor entered the bathroom, and I could hear the sound of the water running. I settled into bed and snuggled up. Minutes later, he came out with wet hair, shirtless, wearing only sweatpants. He lay down on his side of the bed and started scrolling through his phone. Now I felt at peace. A smile escaped my lips, and I closed my eyes, quickly drifting off to sleep...
HEITOR SMITH......
When I entered the apartment, Alicia was thrashing around in bed, screaming a name: "IGOR." I approached her and hugged her tightly, making her stop. I saw her calming down slowly. I sat her down on the bed and called her name.
HEITOR: Alicia?
When I called her, she jumped into my arms, catching me by surprise. She clung to my neck, and I lifted her into my arms. She was sobbing... Who could this Igor be? What does he have to do with her past? After she calmed down, I gave her some water and went to take a shower. I was surprised that she wanted me to protect her. I finished showering and lay down next to her, grabbing my phone to speak with an investigator. I provided them with the name "Igor" and Alicia's full name. I would find out, once and for all, what that scumbag did…
I continued working on my phone, answering some emails, and then checked my messages. There were a few from Luize. I blocked her immediately. I didn't want anything to ruin this moment with Alicia…
I looked over at her, and she was sleeping peacefully. She began to shift, and then stopped, her arms and legs draped over me. This woman was provoking me, she had to be. I closed my eyes, trying to sleep. Unlike with Luize, with Alicia, I felt the urge to build something. I never felt this way with Luize. It was just sex, nothing more. But with Alicia… everything was different. Her touch, the way my body reacted to her… it was all new to me…
