HEITOR SMITH..........

My day wasn't going well, but business matters were all perfect, just the way I like it...

The day of the trip has arrived, the only way to get me to take a vacation, however short it may be. The wedding is on Saturday, but as my dear little sister is as capricious as I am, the family is going a few days early just to make sure everything goes well...

I go back to my place and when I close the car door I am surprised by that striking perfume...

I look to the side and see Luize with a sullen face and arms crossed. I just put on my seatbelt and speed off, making her straighten up in her seat. Wait a minute, am I going to explain myself? No way, never...

We drive the whole way in silence. I see Luize staring at Alicia through the mirror, but Alicia just rolls her eyes and ignores her... When we arrive at the airport, Alicia is the first one out. She goes to the trunk and gets her things, and goes towards Vitoria, who starts laughing at her....

LUIZE stays in the car. I think she really believes I'm going to open the door for her. I get out and grab the luggage, hand the keys to the valet and he takes the car. When she sees the man getting in, she gets out, slamming the door shut....

LUIZE: What a gentleman__she says, grabbing her suitcase.

HEITOR: You still haven't gotten used to it because you don't want to__I say, walking towards my family...

ALICIA is distant the whole time; I guess she's not comfortable. We start to board the jet and my mother puts Alicia right in front of me, next to her. Since I'm wearing sunglasses, it's easy for me to look at her. I notice her features, and they are so pretty and perfect. She starts to smile, talking to my mother, but what caught my attention was that my sister's other friends always hit on me, and why didn't she?...

She didn't even look at me. Soon we were in the air, and upon arriving everything was the same as it was the last time we were here....

I took a deep breath and we went to the living room. Luize wanted to be stuck to me like glue, but I pushed her away. I looked over and saw Alicia taking in the scenery, and soon after I saw Luize approaching, and from what I know, it's nothing good. Minutes later Alicia comes back with a mocking smile and doesn't even look at me or my brother-in-law. That's good, yes, very good...

She and Vitoria go upstairs, making me follow their every move...

CESAR: Hummm, interesting, right, brother-in-law?__he says, laughing to see me drooling.

HEITOR:Don't even start, no chance, hum hum__I say, sipping my whiskey.

CESAR: Okay, okay, just saying that Vitoria and I will be godparents, hahaha.

HEITOR: God forbid I get stuck with a woman, no one will make me commit that madness__I say, stating the obvious.

LUIZ: And what madness would that be?__my father says, approaching us.

I look at Cesar to keep quiet. I know how my parents are, but Cesar doesn't cooperate...

CESAR:Let's just say the next wedding will be HEITOR's, hahaha__he says, getting up quickly.

LUIZ:What a divine miracle, haha, and who will be the one to captivate Heitor for the rest of his life?__my father says with a smile.

HEITOR: She hasn't been born yet, she hasn't been born yet__I say, getting up. I've had enough, I'm going to my room.

As I'm about to enter, I hear Vitoria talking to Alicia. Yeah, I know it's wrong, but I was drawn to her talking about a dragon with horns to Luize. A smile escaped my lips and I went to my room...
