Arc 1 - Marie the Lonely - Learning To Cope

Eleanora was very incredulous when it came to managing the circumstance that happened barely seven days prior, however it benefitted her in many ways. Hervé had given some medication that would, in the long run, fix the young lady of her disease, the main thing was that Eleanora had deceived him so the pills were futile.

Marie-Paule has been visiting her regularly, and Eleanora was certain at some point or another the ladies of the royal residence would intercede, yet for the time being she was enjoying the little ladies company.

Eleanora swept the residue off her danky wooden floor while Marie-Paule sat on a picnic blanket outside. The lady had a view of her from her yucky unsteady back porch.

For Eleanora, any day in the royal residence in the past was torment and debilitating. From left and right, ideal individuals would endeavor to harm her, and at last, it succeeded once.

Having lost the ability to birth any children was a nightmare...And yet the Emperor still adored her beyond a reasonable doubt...

Or then again it was the way that he cherished her body...

Eleanora stopped sweeping, holding the broomstick firmly, she shut her eyes trusting no tears would escape her delicate eyes. The torment she felt made her need to pass on once more...

Be that as it may, she had yet finished her objective...

She was going to ensure that his Majesty's children wouldn't grow up not realizing how great it felt to be cherished and cared for.

So when one of them is picked to rule over the kingdom, they won't have such chilly, insidious, and spoiled hearts.

In any case, their heart would be filled with love and patience.

"Eleanora!" Marie-Paule yelled motioning for the lady to come outside.

Eleanora heard her voice and a grin showed up all over.

She set the broom against the wall so it could incline toward it, and left through the back porch to join the young girl.

"Yes, you're Majesty?" Eleanora asked as she gradually lowered herself down on the picnic cover.

"For what reason would even try cleaning that sickening house? You should entertain me!" Marie-Paule cried annoyingly. The young lady sulked as she peeled her orange.

Eleanora laughed apprehensively "Sorry you're Majesty..."

["My, my...Consort Lulth never paid her enough attention..and at whatever point she wined I'm certain she would simply give her what she wanted...but whatever she requested presumably wasn't what she truly needed"]

Eleanora tried her best not to show the sorrow upon her face and instead continued to smile

Right now it's all she could afford

"Have you seen Father at all?" Marie-Paule asked, she finished peeling the orange and gave it to Eleanora.

"I have not, and thank you very much!" Eleanora smiled, Marie-Paule blushed turning away

"I have no choice! If I don't feed you, you'll starve!"

["Ah...(゚ー゚)"]

Eleanora looked at the orange and how well it was peeled, "You must do this often Princess?" Marie stopped peeling her second orange "I thought if I do this for my father, that maybe he'll like me better..."

She chuckled a bit and continued to peel again, her face was red as if she was trying to hide her hurt for dear life.

Eleanora placed her orange down in the weaved basket and her hands reached for Marie-Paule

"You don't have to hold it in...it's fine to cry" Eleanora smiled

Marie-Paule pushed Eleanora's hands away and glared at her "I don't need your pity you lowly fool! I am the Emperor's daughter and I have all of the right to do whatever I please!" Marie threw the orange she peeled for Eleanora at the grand oak tree.

Eleanora's brows raised in surprise. Her eyes glanced over to the young lady who looked furious.

"You made me angry! You should be punished!" Marie took the picnic basket and stomped over to the bridge leaving the woman alone.

Eleanora watched the girl leave making her heartache "I overstepped, and of course, she wouldn't open up easily..."

The ladies eyes lacked life and purpose, her heart felt empty and drowned in sadness.

"Ah...when will all of this be over"

["Wishing a new life is what many people would want...knowing things of the future what a gift.."]

The night sky was always dark, no stars, no clouds, just a hue of purple and black. It was bland and lonely.

"Just like me"

Sitting outside of my shabby home, here I was sitting near the lake close enough to fall in.

Something right now I was desperately wishing for...

But I had a mission, no matter how desperate I was to escape the frightful days and stressful encounters, it was fated for me to do this, no matter how hard it was.

Lifting up the little canary blue dress the draped along my body smoothly, I dipped my feet into the clear water. I shivered my feet sank in,

"Wooo! It's cold!"

Though the night sky was dark and boring, the palace was beaming! It was brightly shining, and I could hear the delicate laughs and luxurious conversations.

Kicking my feet back and forth I stared ahead of me,

"What a fable lie"

The wind started to pick up a bit, and the water started to ripple. My hands clasped onto the sides of my arms in hopes to warm up after the sudden wind.

"Hey! Who are you!"

SPLASH!

My arms flapped underwater in hopes of reaching the top to get a breath of air

*cough* *cough*

I reached the top gasping for air and coughing out the water that entered my lungs

Soaking wet I laid my head into the grass as my legs floated in the water, The young lady walked over to me and threw her handkerchief on me "That's what you get for coming here, who do you think you are?"

The sound of her voice...?

Turning my head I tried to get a look at the young girl, the handkerchief fell off my head.

"Do you know who I am you pile of dirt?" She snickered

["ugh these kids.."]

Wait..it's the first princess!

She had the most hate for me, just as her mother 'The Empress' had for me as well.. My hands were soaked in mud, I crawled onto the rest of the ground shivering

["I can't deal with her right now, at this point if I don't get any heat I'll die!"]

The first princess looked stunned and annoyed "Hey! I'm talking to you!"

She walked over to me as I continued to shiver heavily, her eyes filled with superiority

She began to crouch down looking at my full lifeless eyes "Are you cold?" The girl spoke pitifully in a mocking voice

.

"I-I-I k-k-know w-why yo-yo-you're l-like this.."

Her eyes widened and she frowned "What do you know fool?!"

I could feel myself turning so cold

Why was the wind so heavy today?

Am I dying again?

If I am...take me please!

Eleanora opened her eyes softly, she felt cozy and warm under some silk blankets. From her point of view, the first princess was sitting in a chair by the bed, nodding off to sleep.

Eleanora felt tears start to come ["Her heart must be good.."]

The woman lifted her self up to she could sit up properly, The young princess then opened her eyes yawning.

"Thank you you're Majesty," Eleanora said with a bright smile

The first princess started to frown "Don't be so full of yourself peasant, I needed you alive so you could tell me wh-"

BAM!!

Marie-Paule rushed in out of breath, her hair a mess and her face teary-eyed "E-E-Eleanora!"

She rushed over to the side of the bed and hopped in to hug the woman

["Eh..? What was happening here?"] (*。0 – 0。*)?

Eleanora looked confused and the first princess was just as confused.

"I was so scared! I thought something happened to you! I'm so sorry!!!" Marie hugged her tightly crying loudly into the woman's stomach.

Eleanora started to pat the girls head "You have nothing to be sorry for darling...I'm just fine"

The first princess looked extremely confused at the sight in front of her "M-Marie! What are you doing!?"

She just continued to cry not answering the girl...

This young lady had finally found someone who cared for her, and wouldn't let go.
