The loud thumping on the door made the sleeping figure to flinch.

Harin flinched in her sleep and lazily looked at the clock.

*I’ll be late* She shrieked internally and got up hurriedly to answer the door.

“DO YOU THINK THE MONEY I PAY FOR YOUR SCHOOL IS A JOKE.” A shout met her as soon as the door opened.

“Sorry dad. I stayed up late for studying, it’s my fault.” She hurriedly apologizes to her raging father.

“I don’t care. Just get ready and leave.” He said and left.

Lee Hyun or James. HR manager in the flex tech. company who loves his family a lot. He maybe strict but all he wants is his child to perform well so that none can complaint about them. He wants them to be independent. And for that they need to be away from all sorts of distractions. This is what he believes.

Harin quickly went to bathroom to freshen up.

“Thank God, he woke me up. Where’s Rach—

‘Darling do it on your own, hmm?’ A voice rushed her mind. *Taehyung* The name echoed in her mind.

She looked at her clothes, shocked at seeing herself in her night-suit. She stripped in fear.

*Please don’t be bad, don’t be bad* She chanted in fear as she examined her whole body.

Relief rushed over her as she didn’t find anything suspicious.

*But………………………….. how am I here and……. who changed my dress*

The confusion clouded her mind as she got ready for her school.

“What’s with you and Taehyung huh!” Rachel said, sitting beside her. Her tone was bitter with her expressions.

“I don’t know” Harin replies, her heart clenching at the sight.

“What do you mean.” She turns her with force. “Jake saw you hugging and Jungkook didn’t let him interrupt him. What did you do in that room. He asked me for your clothes. Took you out from the party with you asleep in his arms and him being top n@ked. And you expect me to believe that nothing happened.”

“We just hugged and then I fell asleep.” Even she felt something weird in her explanation.

*How can it happen though* She felt something missing from her conscious.

“Are you two dating?” Rachel’s voice brought her back to the present.

“I don’t know”

“Don’t bluff me Harin.” She banged the table in annoyance. “After school go to his college and ask him if he’s serious because if he’s not then I’m not allowing you to go to him again.”

And this is why she loves Rachel. The feeling of caring which she receives from her is always unique. She doesn’t mind the force because she has seen her being mad at Jake. And she knows that she likes Taehyung too yet she is worried about her.

She bit her lip in shyness in the thought of meeting Taehyung in front of his college. *He didn’t even leave his number* She pouted in sadness. *But how did I reach my bed. If dad had met him them I would’ve been dead by now* She huffed in frustration.

She then remembered how she sat on his lap; she even HUGGED him.

*He is really something* she thoughts after acknowledging her fast heartbeat, still doubtful about her sudden decisions.

*His college is at a walking distance but how would I approach him without being seen by anyone who can tell my father* *It’s impossible, leave it*

The thought of being unable to meet him weighed her heart more than she expected. In a blink of an eye, her school finished and she came back home.

She kept staring at the window with gloomy mood. She had lost all her will to do something. The emptiness of the room bored her more. She had her dinner in her room only, not wanting to have anyone else’s presence. The more time passed, the more irritated she felt.

How can someone affect her day so much, that’s the thought which kept more irked.

“Harin…” Her mother knocked on the door. “Rachel is here again, asking for sleepover. Your father permitted, pack your things and go.”

For the first time she was happy with the news.

She hurriedly put on a simple attire and rushed outside picking her books.

“For the first time I’m seeing you happy for this.” Rachel said with an amused expression, suppressing her hurt.

Harin looked everywhere except her with flushed cheeks as she followed her to her house.

Entering the house, Rachel went to change as usual while she debated whether she should approach him or just stick to Rachel like her normal routine.

“Are you not changing.” Rachel asks as she comes back fixing her dress.

“Do I need to; I mean I’m not going for the party.”

“Well you’re entering the venue, dress up for it. Lara really keeps grudges, you know.”

“What do I wear now.”

“Just take any jumpsuit or else Taehyung will burn down in jealousy.”

A blush coats her cheek at the mention of the male. She picks out a black jumpsuit from Rachel’s closet which covers her whole just her collarbones and arms will be visible due to the see through material there.

This time she willingly follows Rachel from the back of her house, they sneak out to a different location today. Apparently all the party people lived in walkable distance.

But she has never been to Taehyung’s side of the neighbourhood. They were known as peace destroyer because their whole lane consisted of well-behaved kids unlike them who would be only seen smoking, partying and enjoying.

Upon reaching the location, she can see the same atmosphere of yesterday night. She entered hiding behind Rachel, as usual. However, this time she drew every attention of the people there. She timidly raised her eyes to only get locked by Jack who was glaring at her. She gulped in fear and straightway ran to the balcony.

She had just entered the room when she was pulled into a back hug.

Her eyes quickly got covered in tears as she struggled.

“Darling, it’s me.” A deep soothing voice was whispered which led her to calm down. She leaned on him, calming herself.

“Why did you run all the way here.” Taehyung asked slowly guiding them towards the balcony.

“Nothing.” She lied thinking he would get angry. “Just missed you.” her cheeks again recovered the crimson hue.

“I would’ve been really happy to hear it if you weren’t lying to me.” His voice made her eyes go wide.

How the fvck does he know.

“So tell me the truth then we’ll talk about missing each other.” He said stroking her chin with one hand.

“I saw Jake and he was kind of glaring me, so I came to you as early as possible.”

Her feeble voice sent him back to some old memories.

He tightened his hold saying, “Whenever you find him, just think about me, call me, say my name. Anything. Okay.” Making her agree.

“What happened yesterday.” She asked the question which had been bothering her mind.

“Nothing Darling why?”

“Rachel says you asked for my clothes and then left the party with me in your arms with chest naked.”

“That part is true though. I didn’t trust the place enough to make you change your dress. So I had to take you out.”

“But everybody would’ve seen you without your jacket then.” A whine escaped her lips making his lips curl in smirk.

“So……….. the only thing you’re worried about is me being seen bare chest. Anything else???”

“You also didn’t leave your number.” She complained more. “And I don’t know how you left me back in my room. Wait!!!” She turned around and stared at him with surprised expression. “How did you know my house. How did you enter my bedroom. And why I don’t remember anything of yesterday’s night.”

“Calm down.” He caressed her temple immediately making her calm. “I asked you and you yourself told me the address. I entered your room from the balcony since the design of houses are same here. And I asked you to change yourself before which I left. And I requested Lara for today’s party so that we can exchange our numbers properly. Now you got all your answers?”

Harin replied a shy yes again staring at her feet.

Taehyung chuckled seeing her shy demeanor. “Are we good now?” his hands captured her waist from all the sides as he pushed her back slowly reaching the balcony.

Anyone staring would see Harin being cornered by him on the balcony.

“What are we……” she shyly asks still unable to hold herself in his predatory gaze.

“It’s your choice.” He puts his head on her shoulder. “Friends, boyfriend, husband, I’m fine with anything.”

“No… Boyfriend is fine….” She mumbles back with her pink appearance. “But…… don’t you think we’re too close.”

“I know your family is very strict, so don’t worry; we aren’t going to that stage pretty soon.”

Again her heart fluttered at his words. Suddenly, all her life seemed like a pass time as if she was meant to be for him only. As if she had wasted living because it was without him.

Taehyung was enjoying the warmth he had left in past. He had lived in regret enough to again feel guilty. He swore not to leave her again. Ever.

He tightened his hold, snuggling more into her neck, making her stiff. He drew abstract patterns with light movements trying to loosen her up.

“Why did you change” She asks remembering all the info she had heard about him.

“Change?”

“I mean you used to enjoy a lot before.” She tried to make it sound normal but the ‘normal’ did sound a bit weird.

“That life was empty. Truthfully it was just because I wanted the days to pass. I got tired of living, just wanted to pass time.”

*Am I a time pass too* the thought immediately striked her mind.

“No! You’ll never be a time pass. You’re someone I’ll cherish my whole life. The reason I’ll live.”

“Isn’t it too early to make me your reason to live.”

“It’s inevitable. Years after too it’ll be you only.”

She felt herself getting hot at his cheesy lines.

“Today I’ll drop you by myself again. Will that be fine.”

“Only if it’s comfortable for you.”

“I’m yours. Anything good for you is comfortable for me.” He said making her lean on the railing as he holds her safely.

Harin did loosen up a little after few minutes, feeling the warmth while the male was still snuggling in her neck’s crook enjoying the contact.

The couple enjoyed being in arms of each other.

After the music’s vibe changed downstairs, he realized that the time is probably around midnight.

“Let’s get you back to your home.” He patted her back breaking their hug.

He held her hand and guided her outside of the house. Only to be met with an angry Jake blocking their way.

“You surely have a way to steal someone else’s property.” Jake’s glare towards Harin was enough to indicate what he wanted to say.

“She was never yours to begin with. Why don’t you accept it like a man.” He tsked his tongue in annoyance. “Move away little boy. You won’t like what I’ll do to you neither I want her to see your sorry a$$ getting beaten up.”

“Lee Harin remember this is not over.” Jake sent her a last glare as he moved aside, admitting that the male was superior to him.

Upon reaching her home he whispered, “Go to your room and open the door to your balcony, okay. You’ll find me there till you freshen up.” And went to the neighbour’s backyard.

Harin obliged and opened the door to the balcony as soon as she reached her room. After waiting for a minute or two she went to do her night routine.

After coming out of the bathroom, she found the lights to be off.

*The lights must be out*

She looked around trying to find the male in the translucent surroundings.

*Will he really come*

“I’m here darling.” An arm wrapped around her waist and another around her knees was enough for her to flinch as she felt herself in air the next second.

The male picked her up and softly placed her on her bed, joining her afterwards.

“If I told you I’ll come then I’ll surely come.” He pecked her temple.

“Is it safe for you to be here?” her wide eyes in confusion made him chuckle.

“I’ll be safe and hidden, so don’t worry about me and sleep.” He laid a little away from her not trying to make her feel uncomfortable.

The next few months their night meet was consistent. Harin would tell him about her life and he would tell her about his.

Till then she was familiar with all of his mates. And the time of her final term arrived too.

The happy part of her graduating was that her father was enrolling her to the same university in which Taehyung was. Both were excited about this news.

And going with these romantic nights the 1st day of her college life arrived.

“Are you excited” Rachel asks her cousin who is squealing in excitement. “Lucky for you to have your boyfriend there too.”

“I want to meet him as soon as possible.” Harin whined as they both reached the gate.

“You act so cute here and become a meek lamb in front of him. Does he know how much you whine about his absence.”

“He is too intimidating. He just makes me feel butterflies the whole time.” She sighed saying and then stopped to take a good look of the college.

“Have you two ki$$ed yet?”

“No, he just hugs me sometimes.”

“Woah!! I didn’t know that a former playboy can be such perfect loyal bítch.”.

“I didn’t expect it too to be honest.”

“Let me show you around for your classes first, then we’ll be finding your boyfriend in this big a$$ campus.”

Their tour had ended around noon. Now Harin was walking in the hallway of her block during their lunch break, finding her class.

The moment she entered the class, she was pulled into a familiar embrace.

She shrieks at the sudden pull.

“You scared me.” She whispers trying to calm herself down.

Taehyung embraced her more, snuggling into her neck. “Was missing you since the morning.” He mumbled out.

“I missed you too.” She whispers out blushing furiously.

They stayed in each other’s embrace but had to break off when students started coming back.

“I’ll meet you soon.” Taehyung whispers as he leaves the classroom.

Her class went pretty well, as all it said was the basic information and introduction. she just wished that no one approaches her and it did came true. She was too shy and awkward to make new friends and having Rachel with her helped a lot.

She immediately left the class once the teacher dismissed it.

*But I don’t know where he would be* she thought and pulled out her phone to call the male.

“Looks like you’re missing me too much today” the amusement was heard in his voice.

She blushed and quickly mutters, “where are you”

“Behind you” she was wrapped in his embrace as she heard her answer in a deep voice whisper.

She blushed again.

“Sometimes I want to eat you alive.” His deep voice left a tingling sensation on her thighs as she squirmed a little.

It seemed as if he could read her mind. Every time she would feel something like this, he would know it.

“Come I’ll introduce you to my mates.”

He held her hand and guided her to a different class. There she saw two males sitting in the back corner of the class to where she was guided.

“Harin… this is Jungkook” he said pointing to the fair skin male with piercings “and this is Jimin” he pointed to the other one.

Harin bowed as she muttered a feeble hello.

*If father comes to know that I met them, he’ll kill me for sure*

“She is too innocent for you; don’t you dare to ruin her.” she heard Jimin warning which immediately soften her heart.

Taehyung mumbled a whatever before he again spoke. “Jungkook is our guard here. Whenever Jake is there to trouble us, he always comes and helps.”

“Thank you so much, sunbae.”

Jungkook snorted being addressed as a senior.

“you’re what 20” Jimin asks her.

“19”

Jungkook and Jimin burst in laughter.

“He is too old for you.” Jimin said between his laughers.

“Fvck off you two.” He being irritated grabbed her and takes her out of class.

“They are funny” she said giggling.

Taehyung made a dramatic shocked face. “So you agree with them that I’m old. I’m seriously hurt.” He pouted holding the hem of her sleeves.

Taehyung’s act made her burst into laughter.

“You’re soooooooo cute.” She squealed as she pinched her cheeks.

Taehyung stilled feeling uneasiness.

He felt something too much unfamiliar for his existence.

He was shocked at the sound.

He hesitantly placed his hand on his heart feeling his heartbeat.

After centuries he felt this sickening feeling.

Heart beatings of a vampire only relates to one thing.
