“When will you come to the practice room.” Jimin asked making Tae snap out of his thoughts.

“I don’t know.” He leaned on him a little. “I guess I’ll text you after I complete my project.”

“I still don’t know why you left dance club. You liked it.” Jimin had his eyebrows squinted in frustration. He didn’t liked how his best friend had left him there alone.

“I told you I am more interested in IT club now.”

“Is it because of Seori?”

“She has already left the club Jimin.”

“How do you know that.”

“She is in the IT club too.”

“WHAT!!!!”

“She followed me there.”

“And you didn’t tell me.”

“She has moved on with someone else now.”

“Stay away from her. I really don’t like her.”

“I’ll. Don’t worry.” Tae said ruffling his hair.

“I’ll message you when to reach there.”

“And I’ll obey your command your highness.” Tae cupped his cheeks squishing them.

But this action of his made him remember a familiar face of yesterday’s party. Those cheeks – he thought. There was this thought in his head that how would her face feels in his hands. Only if he could touch her.

“Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaah” Tae screamed when he felt his hairs being pulled. “Are you mad.” Tae glared at Jimin.

“You weren’t listening to me.” Jimin made a DUH! Face now. “Where were you lost, by the way.”

“Nowhere, just go to your class. I’ve to attend mine too.” Tae now got up from his seat flicking Jimin’s forehead.

“Remember to check your phone.” Jimin shouted.

“Complete this presentation you all by tomorrow, understand.” The IT professor told them again before dismissing the class finally.

“At last, it’s over.” Tae groaned tiredly shutting his computer down. “I’ll complete this tonight.” Tae mumbled and looked at the time.

“SHIT!!!” Only then Tae remembered about the date. “He’ll kill me.” He hurriedly took out his phone and checked tons of unread messages.

He collected his stuff and ran to the café knowing he had messed up.

After 10 min……

“Please Jiminaa.” Tae whined now. “I’m really sorry.”

“How many times have I told you not to put your phone on silent.” Jimin now pinched his arm.

“Ouch” Tae winced. “Will you stop please. I swear I’ll ask her tomorrow.”

“No need.” 😒 “Feel grateful that I’m here otherwise you’ll end up single for your whole life.”

“Honestly I wouldn’t mind that.” Tae ruffled his hair and was setting up his bandana.

“Didn’t you had those wonderful dreams of becoming a dad like your father and marrying a nice girl like your mother.” 😒

“Doesn’t mean that I need to date every person on whom I’ve crush on.”

“So, you admit that you’ve crush on her.”

“Yes!” “Now happy.” “Tell me why we are here.”

“Yoongi works here.” Jimin flashed his innocent smile.

“And someone else too.”

“Shut up now.”

“We would like to order now.” Jimin waved and shouted to the one standing on the counter.

Soon enough Yoongi comes out with his notepad and pen making Jimin squeal in happiness.

“What would you like to order.” Yoongi straightly asked Tae making Jimin pout.

“I would like two donuts please with two milkshakes for me and you for him.” Tae cheekily replied making both of them flustered.

“And you can add a specific someone to serve.” Jimin said to yoongi.

Yoongi chuckled at them and left after pinching Jimin’s cheeks a little.

And Jimin was – 😳

“Ooooooh” Tae started teasing him a little.

“Shut up before I start.”

“Chill man.” Tae backed up in innocence. “I never thought he would be expressive though.”

“He is. He sometimes comes to the dance room too to meet me.” Jimin blabbered with his shining eyes.

“Lovesick fool.” Tae chuckled seeing his best friend so elated.

Soon after they were engrossed in their own talks when Tae heard the familiar voice.

“Here’s your order.” Harin said placing the eatables on their table.

Tae got flustered hearing her voice only. He was blushing so madly that he didn’t dare to look up even. And of course, why would Jimin leave this opportunity to tease him when the latter was teasing him before.

“Oh Harin, how are you.” Jimin said with a teasing tone and Taehyung now knew what he was upto.

“Sunbae we were together an hour ago.” her reply came in monotonous tone.

“I know…….. But my friend was busy at that time so he dragged me all the way here so he can talk to you. Right Tae?” 😏

If it were possible then he would’ve drowned him in a pot of water but now he couldn’t. his face was heating up due to embarrassment. He wanted to run away but that would leave a not so good impression.

“Yes.” He replied. He didn’t dared to look up. But he continued to talk. “I – umm – wanted to ask you for a date.” He clutched his fingers due to shyness.

“My shift ends at 8pm.” Harin hurriedly spoke and ran away.

“What a wonderful proposal.” Jimin's tone dripped sarcasm.

“Shut up and eat.”

“But will you stay here till 8.”

“Are you dumb. I’ll go and get dressed.” Taehyung said enjoying his donut.

“ooooooooooh 😏 someone is getting dressed huh!!”

“You do realize that Yoongi hyung will also get off from work at 8.”

“😱 Yes, that means I also have to get ready.”

Tae chuckled seeing his best friend being innocent in love.

“Don’t make fun of me 😒, you’re also in the same boat now.”

Like this both went back to get dressed and agreed to meet again in front of the café at 7:55 sharp.

“You’re here.” Jimin made a shock face. “Doesn’t mean that I need to date every person on whom I’ve crush on.” Jimin said mimicking him. “Going back on your words this soon, huh!”

“Are you done” Frustration was clearly visible on Taehyung’s face.

“Whatever.” Jimin mumbled.

They both heard a commotion coming from the café only then.

They both saw 3 people arguing. More like 2 actually. Yoongi was holding Harin by her shoulders while she and Yoona were bickering like little kids.

Taehyung now noticed the girl who was dressed plainly. A yellow hood with black joggers, while her hairs were tied in a half ponytail.

Taehyung chuckled seeing her arguing mindlessly, when Jimin said, “Kim Taehyung, this is not a time to laugh. Grab your girl so that I can have my date.”

This converted her attention to Yoongi’s hand which were placed on her shoulders and was pushing her from behind. He poked his cheek with his tongue trying to hide his annoyance.

“That’s it now go to your date before I stich your mouth.” Yoongi said pushing her towards Taehyung. Till she realised she was already bumped with his torso.

While Yoongi then happily went to Jimin.

“I’m sorry. I didn’t informed you.” Jimin humbly said.

“I expected you. Let’s go now.” Yoongi ruffled his hairs and took his hand, guiding him to begin their date.

While with the NEW COUPLE………………………

Harin composed herself regretting what she was caught doing.

“I didn’t know you & Yoongi were close.” Tae spoke. Whereas he was blushing heavily due to their sudden contact.

“We live in the same neighbourhood.”

“Ohh”

Silence prevailed while the two were trying to ease their awkwardness.

This time Harin took the time to check him out. He was wearing black jeans with grey t-shirt, with a leather jacket on top.

Well she does accept that the is looking PERFECT, specially with his hairs reaching till his eyes giving the hot vibe of his overall personality.

Totally forgetting about the real deal.

“How are you” Harin tried to start a conversation but immediately regretted uttering such a stupid question.

“I’m fine. How about you.”

“Same here.”

Silence again joined them.

“The weather is really nice.”  Harin again desperately tried to break to silence.

“Shall we take a walk then.” Tae didn’t had anything planned for her, so he thought why not make use of the weather.

“Sure.”

They both started walking, enjoying the cool breeze touching their face.

“You belong from Seoul? Or just shifted here.”

“I’m from Yongin, Gyeonggi-do. Me & my dad shifted here 2 years ago.”

“And your mom??”

“She left us quite early.”

“oh I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay. She is happy now.” Harin said giving him a look which he couldn’t comprehend. “What about you.”

“My family is from Seoul only. Me, my dad & my mom. Though she is my stepmother but she never failed to love me.”

“Stepmother??”

“yes” Tae gave a painful smile. “My mother died when I was 6. I missed her a lot. Maybe thats why he gave me another mom as my gift. But she loves me the most. And I’m blessed for that.”

“You’re really lucky.” Harin looked at him, her eyes filled with fondness.

And like this their relationship begun…………

AFTER 6 MONTHS…………….

“What are you doing here.” Jimin asked finding Taehyung in front the café.

It was a fine Sunday and Yoongi had the second shift for work. So, he was out with him enjoying their day, and decided to drop him to the café where he found Taehyung unexpectedly.

“She is getting off work.”

Jimin squealed in happiness now. From past 6 months he had witness his best friend’s relationship improving. He was always happy, or we can say glowing. And of course, Jimin boasted all the time how Tae should thank him for the happiness he is getting.

“Thank me again” Jimin proudly ordered Tae while Yoongi portrayed a done face.

“In your dreams.” Tae scoffed.

“Leave him, here comes his darling.” Yoongi nudged Jimin.

Harin was coming out tying her hair. She straightway ran to Taehyung, holding his one arm.

“Hello sunbae.” Harin and Jimin became friends too. Jimin was her favourite partner in gossiping as both held secrets of each other’s partner.

“We both will be leaving.” Tae intertwined their hands and took her away.

“I’ll come to pick you up.” Jimin squished Yoongi cheeks and sent him to café.

“Where are we going today?” Harin asked as he made her sit in his car.

“To meet my parents.”

Harin felt all her hopes crashing down. She got so engrossed in her growing feelings that she forgot that one day this day will also come for which she had decided.

“Why does it look like you are possessed.” Tae snapped in front of her eyes making her comeback to reality.

“Nothing.” She forced a smile while her mind already predicted the future cause she was too much familiar with the women
