The days that followed our rocky start were indeed smoother. It seemed like I had left all the anger and bitterness behind, and instead had developed a sense of empathy & understanding for Easton, so much so that I found myself actively supporting his work, always ready with a warm breakfast in the morning.

I loved the feeling of creating a smiley face through the tomato sauce on his plate- it was such a simple gesture, yet it gave me so much joy.

Your breakfast is ready, Mr. Delores!

Today, I was going about my usual routine of doing laundry when something caught my eye. Easton's door was open, which was unusual because he always kept it closed.

•looking inside• Why is it open...?

Shall I enter? Nope...he refrained me to come inside...but he never leaves it open? Did he open it for me?

Unsure if I should go in, but my curious heart couldn't resist much, so I entered the room.

As I tiptoed into the room, I noticed that he had been working all night and had fallen asleep on his working table.

Mr. Delores-?

He was in deep sleep, I quickly grabbed the blanket on his bed and put it on him. He moved his head aside, that made my heart thump nervously.

Nah, I should leave, I shouldn't wake the tiger.🙂💀

As I was about to leave, I looked back. His computer was on, and I had glimpsed at the picture displayed on that. My instinct pushed me to look closer at the photo of a man, and as I scrolled down- My eyes widened, my mouth hung open in disbelief, and my heart began to race

My mind reeled at the possibility of why Easton had that photo, but my thoughts were quickly interrupted when Easton woke abruptly-

And his reaction was far from friendly
