As the days passed, my boredom only grew.
From dawn till dusk. I was preoccupied with mundane tasks that barely kept my mind occupied.
In the midst of my humdrum existence, I stumbled upon a cookbook gifted to me by Mr. Delores. It was a treasure trove of exotic recipes.
So I spent hours pouring over it & learn how to cook, hoping to bring some flavour to my dull days.
And lately, the kitchen had become my prison.

With another wrong attempt I closed the book and pushed it aside, sitting silently.
In the dead silence, I heard a muffled conversation coming from Mr. Delores's room.
Curiosity, got the better of me and I crept towards his door, hoping to overhear something, but it was too quiet.
However, the furious sounds of keyboard clicks made me run through my thoughts

But that didn't make sense- Easton is a mysterious figure, always busy with his work and seldom making small talks.
I couldn't help but wonder what he did for a living.
