ok i know I haven't updated in a very very long time but I have been very busy and tired.

it's holidays for me so we just finished travelling aswell. but now I'm free every day and can update every day but that doesn't mean that I will cause I'm very lazy 💀

also I'm trying to limit my screen time on MT, cause my phone usage hours were literally sky-rocketing, and also sometimes I don't feel like writing

Han jisung had settled back into life in seoul, comfortable with his close knit group of friends, his passing grades and his overall life. he also had not seen lee know since the day at the company.
he would wake up around 7, have breakfast with Chan, then he would drop him to uni, he would have around 4-6 classes a day. then he would call Chan to pick him up, or take a cab. other times he would hang out with some classmates or his friends.
back before moving to Malaysia, as I mentioned before, Han had been quite a social butterfly and so over these weeks, he met up with old classmates and friends, and generally hung out with mostly everyone in the year and even other years.
there was just the one problem of those bullies who would constantly be bullying felix for being mute, and as Han later found out, were jealous of Hans popularity
Chan was having his own dilemma of whether he should hire lee know or not
After arguing with himself for quite a bit, he decides to tell Han what was bothering him
This is how the conversation went
Bangchan
*walks into hand room* hey..
Jisung
*looks up from his phone* hey
Bangchan
So I have to tell you something
Jisung
Oh please don't tell me you're dying!!
Jisung
Cause if you die just know that I can't live
Jisung
I don't know if I told you but-
Bangchan
Han nobody said I was gonna die!!
Bangchan
*shakes his head and sits on the bed*

the problem is somewhat bad

well as you know or maybe you don't, he came to the company for an interview for a position

And if I'm being honest he is very suitable for the job and I want to hire him

But I don't know if I should seeing as he's lee know *finally goes quiet*

*finishes for him* and you decided to ask me what I think
Chan studied Hans face from under his eyelashes, noting his expressionless face. See Han had decided after that meeting in the mall that he would not react when he heard lee knows name, would not care if something happened to him, would not care what he did. And on this occasion, when chan asked his opinion, he listened to him as someone who did not know did not care for lee know anymore

Well then if you think he's good for the job hire him

*shocked* really?
Jisung
he came for the job, he seems nice-
On the word nice his eyes scrunched slightly as if it wasn't a word he would really use to describe him

-and I'm assuming he fills all the requirements, any other person wouldn't hesitate when hiring him

*uncertain* well if you say so...

*wide eyes* Christopher?!

*frowns* Also why did you not tell me that you had a middle name?

*dismisses* it never came up, also it's not a middle name

Just pretend you never even heard it

But why is it such a secret?!

(oh god you don't know how much of a secret it is)

When are we going to get the papers signed?!
Lee Know
*sighs* yeri I need time
Yeri (wife)
What time do you need to get some papers and tell whoever you need to that we're getting married?!
Lee Know
*rubs his temple* they're not just "some papers" like you say

(maybe this was the wrong idea)
They were in their house, having just come back from the mall together. While there, the topic of their wedding had come up between them, and yeri was very annoyed that a whole month later they still weren't married. Lee know had intentionally delayed it because call it instinct but he felt that something was off. No matter how much he thought he couldn't pinpoint what it was exactly
but he knew he couldn't back out now because of the little life growing in Yeris stomach. so for the sake of saying something, he said

I'll get it done soon don't worry
Yeri (wife)
*sulking* you'd better
Han had been working for a month and a few weeks with Divine, and so far he had stayed behind the front desk for his job. however, one day after uni, Han had called Chan to pick him up, and they were both in the car just chatting about their day when Han got a call. he picked it up to see it was Yeonjun
Jisung
*answers and puts it on speaker* hello?
Bangchan
*looks curiously at the phone*
Yeonjun
I know you don't have any work today but one of my workers who was supposed to work cancelled at the last minute
Yeonjun
I was wondering if you weren't busy, could come in?
Yeonjun
an afternoon shift, you only need to be there for 3 hours max, because another worker said they could come in at 9
Yeonjun
also I should mention now that from 7:30 the bar opens and this would be a good opportunity for you to learn how to work there aswell
Yeonjun
I can get luna (worker) to work there and just show you how it works of you like
Jisung
umm *looks at chan*
Bangchan
*shrugs* yeah you can go
Chan speaks louder so Yeonjun can hear and tells him that he'll be coming aswell then because he has nothing to do, to which yeonjun agrees. and so, because it was 5:20 and they needed to be there by 6, Chan drove them home where they could change, and then drove them back to Divine at 5:50
When they arrive, Luna greets them at the front desk, and points behind to the door
Luna
he's waiting behind there if you want to talk
Bangchan
*nods and turns to Han* see you then
he heads behind the desk, and disappears behind the door. meanwhile Luna is packing up some things on the desk, and then walks out to let Han go in. she informs him that she will getting the bar ready at 7:20, and she will also be there is he needs anything. Han nods and takes his position behind the desk, officially starting his shift at 7
Luna had told him the restaurant might be a bit busier than the day as people were coming back from work and having dinner with their families, and she was right. it wasn't too fast for him, but busy enough that a new family came through the door every 5 minutes
the time went by fast and before long, Han saw Luna appear from a door he'd never been through with a few bottles in hand and approach the bar. she turned on the lights, making the back of the restaurant brighter than before, and giving some extra light to the back tables aswell
as Han watched, she placed the drinks in what he assumed was a cabinet under the bar, and took some other drinks out, rearranging them and displaying them on the table. she also got out glasses of different sizes and organised those asqell. she unlocked the large glass cupboard behind her which held even more drinks.
at that point, she seemed to sense Han looking her way and she turned, she came out from behind the bar and weaved her way through the people dining and came to the front desk

the bar opens in ten minutes

I can't exactly teach you much today since you will still be needed behind this desk, but you can just watch me, see what I do, see where things are
Luna
another time, when you're free and are not working you can come and I'll show you all the drinks and how to serve them. it's really not that hard
Luna
sometimes the customers get a bit rowdy after some time but don't worry cause there's plenty of staff to take care of them

*nods again, only slightly worried*

for now keep working and just watch what you can
Luna
after your shift is over I'd like you to meet someone, it'll only take a few minutes
with that, she makes her way back to the bar. along the way jisung sees some men particularly at the back table start talking loudly at her, laughing and pointing at the bar
Immediately he guessed that they'd be some of the first people asking for drinks. he shakes his head and turns to serve the couple who walk through the door
before long, Han looks at the time on the computer and realises his shift is almost over. he had been watching luna behind the bar, and his guess of the first customers had been right. now, those men were currently sitting on the stools infront of the bar each with a round in their hands and some scattered cups around them. for the past hour they had been downing glass after glass, and each glass only made them louder. he could see then now, talking animatedly with luna, who gave them a polite smile and engaged in small talk. suddenly the whole group burst out into voracious laughter and luna smiled, rolling her eyes
she placed the empty glasses on a tray and a young boy came from the kitchen, collected it, and returned a few minutes later, having washed and dried them all. just then the door opened and another man who looked slightly older than Han walked in, and Han immediately knew he was the next worker by the work shirt he was wearing, boring the restaurants logo
he walked up to the desk and introduced himself as a Jake. luna saw him from the bar and then fidgeted with her phone for a bit. Han received a message seconds later from an unknown number, which turned out to be luna, telling him he could leave the desk now. Jake makes his way over to the bar where luna is, and greets the men surrounding it. the group once again laughs loudly at something he says, and he grins once before sliding behind the bar and bumping against luna teasingly.
Han collected his stuff and stood infront of the restaurant uncertainly. by now, it was a bit more empty then the start of his shift, most people having finished their dinner and headed home. some groups or couples had stayed for the bar. one 8 o'clock had come, someone had hit a switch which dimmed the main lights and colourful LED lights lit up the roof, their faint glow giving a slight party feel. the lights reflected off the glass bottles at the bar, drawing people's eyes to the colourful display
luna swatted at Jake's arm, said something, then beckoned Han over. He approached, wary of the group of now drunk men still sitting around the bar. he made it to the door leading behind the bar and joined luna. one of the men looked away from his companions and saw Han standing there

*slurring* well who's this pretty boy?
Luna
HE *puts her hands on his shoulders and steers him away* is coming with me to meet someone
and luna leads Han away from the bar through the same door she came through before, the one Han had never been through
it was quite dark in the first corridor, but he could see a room of light ahead, which they were approaching. when they reached dit, Han blinked and looked around. it looked like a warehouse or storage room, with crates and boxes all around, and some random equipment lying around.
as Han and luna stood there, a big wooden door to their left opens, allowing entry to a much taller guy to come in, holding another two crates in his arms. although his height could have fooled someone into thinking he was older, when Han caught a look at his face, he guessed him to be around the same age as him
the guy struggled a bit, but managed to put both crates down on top of the others without spilling anything. he dusts his hands and then turns and sticks a hand out for Han to shake

Han this is Soobin, Soobin this is Han jisung
Soobin
nice to meet you jisung *smiles*

nice dimples *blinks*
Luna
*shakes her head* soobins family runs a vine farm and due to Yeonjun being friends with them, they agreed to supply us with fresh wine

Soobin helps transport them
Jisung
*embarassed* oh it's just *gestures* you're very tall and I was..just wondering...
Soobin
oh well *laughs again*
Jisung
and I'm short *sniffs*
Soobin
*pats his shoulder* you're not that short
Jisung
yes I am, have you seen me compared to you?!
side note: look how short skz are 😭😭 if txt is the tall boy group then skz is the short boy group. also Han is right at the end.
after talking for a bit, and headed helping soobin get the rest of the crates out of his truck, they say goodbye and then han goes back to the outside, and messages Chan that he's ready to leave
while he's waiting, he looks around the space one wmore time and something in the corner of the back of the room catches his eye, something he never noticed before

Yeonjun was planning on hiring some people to come play while people ate
Luna
it would make a nice atmosphere

*thinks* can you play?

yeah I can play piano a bit

I had lessons for 2 years about five years ago

*happy* that's great!!
Luna
i should tell yeonjun, maybe we can hire you to play if you're willing
Jisung
yeah I would, but I might be a bit rusty I haven't played in a a few years
Luna
that's alright we'll just do a test run
just then Chan appears and Han takes that as his cue that he should leave. he says bye to luna and Jake behind the counter and joins Chan in the car
