Doctor: Claudia is fine, as they said she faints in stressful situations and she hit her head we carried out some tests and apart from the pregnancy we didn't find any alterations, fractures or after-effects of the fall.

Angelo: Pregnancy?

Alice: Pregnancy?

I'm talking to Angelo.

Doctor: You didn't know about the pregnancy?

Angelo: Now I'm the one who's going to faint.

I sit down so I don't fall over.

Doctor: From the surprise I imagine you're the father and you didn't know. Calm down, my boy, children are a blessing and Claudia and the baby are fine. I spoke to Dr. Mauricio who recommended that they make an appointment to start prenatal care, the pregnancy is too recent for imaging tests and if it hadn't been for the fainting spell they might not even have found out now. Any doubts?

Alice: Angelo loosens his tie to breathe and holds in his laughter, a man of that size who works armed protecting lives, is completely terrified of a pregnancy.

Angelo: She faints when she's nervous, isn't that dangerous when you're pregnant?

Doctor: We have to take into account that the first pregnancy already requires some care, and falls are dangerous. You need to talk it over with your obstetrician, but I recommend a calm pregnancy for Claudia, in order to reduce the risks considerably. I'm going to sign off on her discharge and then the nurse will come and take away her access and you'll be free to go.

Alice: Thank you Doctor.

I thank him and face Angelo, who is trying to speak but can't get a word in edgewise.
