Episode 36

Lorenzo: I spend the day at the office, solving millions of problems. All my meetings were rescheduled for today and I don't have a minute to spare. I finish everything and it's already late. I come home and am surprised to see Alice sleeping curled up on the couch. I put my briefcase away in the office, go upstairs to shower and change, then come back downstairs to fetch Alice. I pick her up in my arms and carry her to my bed, lay her down, lie down beside her, and wrap my arms around her. The day was mentally exhausting and I quickly fall asleep.

Alice: I wake up in the middle of the night, thirsty. I feel Lorenzo's body pressed against mine, and I don't know how I ended up here or what time he got home. I carefully get up and head to the kitchen. I have some water and go out for a walk since I've lost sleep. I sit by the edge of the pool and dip my feet in the water. I don't want the pain of the cold; I just want to wait for sleep to come. I stay here for a while, and as I'm entering, I collide with a wall of muscles and fall hard to the ground, disoriented.

(Angelo, property security):

Angelo: Miss Alice, are you okay?

Alice: I think so. Who are you?

Angelo: I offer my hand to Alice and help her up. I'm Angelo, I work as the night security guard.

Lorenzo: I wake up and don't find Alice. I go outside and see her holding hands with one of the security guards on the night shift. Is everything okay here, Alice?

Alice: I let go of Angelo's hand and look at Lorenzo. Yes, everything is fine.

Angelo: Good night Miss Alice. Good night Mr. Lorenzo.

Lorenzo: When I see the way he looks at Alice while wishing her good night, I have the urge to punch that jerk in the face. He leaves and I keep staring at Alice. Is that why you're feeling insecure?
