After both of them remained silent for a while, the man took the initiative to greet the woman first.

"What are you doing here?" Sky asked, not expecting to meet Alana when he needed peace.

Yes, the man was Sky Dwight, who was looking for a nighttime breeze to refresh his heavy mind. Heavy because he was always pressured to marry quickly just because Sky was the only descendant and heir in the Dwight family.

Alana, who was asked, remained silent, unwilling to answer Sky's question, because it was not important to her.

"You really are an arrogant woman. No wonder Abian-"

"Betrayed me?" Alana interrupted sharply without looking at Sky. For Alana, the view of the street was more beautiful than looking at Sky's face. "If you don't know how it happened, it's better to stay quiet!"

"Wait!" Sky grabbed Alana's hand as she tried to leave the place. "That's not what I meant to say. But-"

"Let go!" Alana interrupted, trying to release Sky's grip.

"Listen to my explanation." Sky insisted, holding onto Alana's hand.

"Tsk, I said let go! I don't want my hand to be touched by dirty hands-" Alana was interrupted before she could continue speaking. She fell first as her grip on Sky's hand was suddenly released. "Sky..." she shouted angrily. How could she not be angry when she fell right into a dirty water puddle, soaking her clothes.

Seeing Alana fall, instead of helping, Sky burst into laughter. "Why? Didn't you ask to be let go?"

"You!"

"Come here!" Sky reached out his hand to help Alana up because he couldn't bear to see her struggling to stand.

Alana immediately accepted his hand, but she pulled it forcefully, causing Sky to fall right in front of her.

"Hey!" Sky grumbled because now his clothes were also dirty.

"We're even." Alana quickly left the place without caring about Sky's curses. She was afraid that staying there too long would make her lose her sanity and retaliate against the man's curses.

Sky himself just watched Alana leave with a sigh, feeling slightly guilty for bringing up Alana's story with Abian. He really didn't mean to bring up her past, but somehow his mouth always wanted to say something harsh when faced with Alana Ricardo.

"How has your life been for the past three years?" Sky muttered to himself. Because he remembered the hot night they had, where Alana seemed to be harboring a deep sadness that made her allow him to touch her body, and it turned out that sadness was caused by Abian Atmajaya. "Ah, forget that arrogant woman!"

Sky got up to clean his dirty clothes. Leaving the place that made him even more confused by meeting Alana.

As usual at the Dwight residence, every morning would be tense due to the debate between the only son of the Mansion's owner and his parents about marriage.

"I don't want to." Sky refused the fiftieth woman who was presented by Mom Sandra.

"At least look at her photo first." Sandra handed over a photo of a beautiful woman to be her son's companion.

Sky himself didn't want to see the photo, because as expected, the woman chosen by Mom Sandra would have the same appearance, namely beautiful, tall, long-haired, sexy, and definitely from a prestigious family.
