99 Day Wedding
The sound of music in a nightclub was deafening to anyone who heard it, but not to the club's visitors who enjoyed every beat of the music played by a DJ.
"Lady, you're already very drunk," the bartender said to the woman with a beautiful face and long hair.
Alana shook her head as she handed the empty glass from her hand. "Quickly refill it!" She wanted to spend tonight having fun after a series of events that had befallen her. Honestly, Alana felt tired of everything that had happened, especially in her love life.
The bartender seemed unmoved, refusing to give the woman what she requested. The woman looked miserable as she sat there, only silently wiping away her tears from time to time.
"Refill it quickly!" Alana shouted.
The bartender remained silent, ignoring her. This made Alana even more furious, and she decided to leave the club after paying all her bills.
"I can't even have fun," Alana grumbled as she stumbled her way, accidentally bumping into someone standing in front of her. "Sorry, I didn't mean to."
The man she bumped into glanced briefly at the disheveled woman with her long hair covering part of her face, then returned his focus to waiting for his private driver.
"Tsk, so arrogant," Alana grumbled as she stumbled forward without realizing a car was heading towards her.
"Watch out!" Quickly, the man pulled the woman, who was about to be hit, out of harm's way. "Miss, you could have endangered yourself," he scolded, looking at the woman in his arms with surprise. "You! You're Al..." Sky tried to remember Baby Arbeto's cousin's name.
Yes, the man Alana bumped into was Sky Dwight. The man who always failed to captivate the women from the large Arbeto family and their descendants.
"My name is A-la-na," Alana replied, spelling her own name.
"Yes, Alana," Sky smiled.
"Who are you?" Alana pushed away from the man who was embracing her.
"Sky, don't you remember? We were introduced by Baby."
Alana shook her head, trying to remember but unable to due to her heavy head. "Alright, Mr. Sky, until we meet again." Alana continued walking, even though she couldn't even stand properly and almost fell.
Swiftly, Sky caught Alana's body again. Seeing her so drunk, he couldn't bear to let her go home alone.
"Let me take you home," he said, helping Alana towards his conveniently parked car.
With the assistance of his driver, Sky escorted Alana into the car.
"Where are we going, sir?" the driver asked as he started the car.
Sky looked at Alana, who was already sound asleep beside him. Now, he was unsure where to take her since he didn't know where she lived. Contacting Baby to ask for Alana's address wasn't something he could do, considering his past strained relationship with Agam Mateo.
"Let's go to the International hotel," Sky finally decided.
"Alright, sir."
The black luxury car zoomed through the streets of Jakarta at high speed until they ultimately arrived at their intended hotel.
Struggling, Sky walked to bring Alana into the hotel room, finally able to breathe a sigh of relief after successfully laying her down on the bed.
"Rest here. I'm going home." Sky's steps halted when his hand was tightly grasped.
"Don't leave!" Alana pleaded, looking at the man with eyes full of hope. "Stay here."
