Episode 1

Jia Mo.

Its raining heavily and I'm completely drenched. I don't bother to cover up myself. I had just witnessed my boyfriend, Qin Shi cheat on me with my best friend Yi Xiner. Yi Xiner was obviously more beautiful than me, she did belong to a wealthy family unlike me. I am an orphan without any background.

But still I had loved Qin with all my heart, his betrayal really got me. Just the thought of all the wonderful memories we had fills my eyes with tears. I really need to take a break.

Slowly pull myself home and remove my clothes that were plastered to my skin because of the water slowly. My mind just can't help going back to those beautiful memories Qin and I had shared. It was over... all over. I start crying my eyes out... that jerk ..that bastard .... he played me.! My chest ached....I was a mess. I dialed Qin's secretary. At the second ring she took the call.

"Hello, Jia what can I do for you? "

I take a deep breath ... I can do this..

" Hello Carla, I have decided to resign.."

my throat choked... tears returned to my eyes...My mind went back to Qin..shit I needed to erase that asshole from my mind. Carla also seemed to get shocked at what I had told.

Carla asked," What happened Jia?? Why so suddenly? Did something happen between you and Mr. Shin? "

I sighed and answered her," Carla, Qin and I are over, and I need a break .. I'll send my resignation letter tomorrow, ok?"

"Ok, Jia , But will Mr. Shin agree to your resignation?"

" Oh Yes, He was the one who suggested it. ", I lied.

" Ok, Fine then , Bye Jia, we will miss you "

I wasn't able to control my smirk , rolling my eyes I replied," Qin won't , anyway and that doesn't matter to me anymore , Bye Carla" . She hung up.

Now I had severed all ties I had with Qin. Now I need to start again... start a new life. But first I need to get him out of my mind. I decide to have a bath and head to my favourite casino. I needed a whiskey right away.

As I entered the casino, I ordered for a whiskey to drown all my sorrows into it.

I didn't need Qin. He is painful past I need to forget. My whiskey goes down my throat warming my current cold body. Mmm it tasted bitter... bitter and slightly sweet and my body started to relax for the first time.

Suddenly I heard a commotion... the girls in the casino seemed to look very excited as if their idol was about to walk in . Suddenly through the door of the casino an extremely handsome guy entered. I swear to God Almighty that is the most handsome guy I have ever seen !

As he came nearer my heart started over work ,...I was pretty sure everyone near me could hear my heartbeat..it was that loud! There was a slight tap on my shoulder , a guy in a suit ,mostly in his thirties came close to me and by close I mean real close....

" Hey there, pretty lady would you like to accompany me tonight?"

Wait what God I need help and right away..

He begins to touch my exposed arm and almost putting his hand over my waist . My body starts resisting his touch. I try to pull myself away from him. But he is just to strong for me!

God please help me!!!

I push him away with all my strength, he falls on the floor.. He gets up angry shouting " You Bitch!!!" Swinging this hand high to hit me.!

I shut my eyes expecting a blow on my face .. but the blow never comes... i could hear gasps but mostly the room had gone silent.. I slowly open my eyes to see what's going on... the man's hand was caught in mid-air by another hand clothed in an expensive suit... I slowly turn my head to see my saviour... my mind goes blank as I see a resolute and calm Mr.Handsome ... the guy who had walked in had just saved me!
