Prologue

FIRST LIFE:

Nectar raised her heavy head as she saw Athena walk in [ She just can't let me die in peace can she? ] She wore her phoenix head peace and walked in red and black robes that highlighted her gold hair and blue eyes. Her voice was disgustingly cheerful, " I've come to see you again empress ".

Nectar snickered as her chains cut into her limbs, " Many thanks to the new empress. I'm honored by your presence ". Athena pouted then as she approached, "Is that sarcasm I hear? I could let you go if you just begged for your life ".

Nectar sighed as her head fell back, " Such a mercy is unwarranted ". Athena slapped her then, yelling in her face " You were nothing, are nothing and will always be nothing ". Nectar dangled her head, trying to overcome the ringing in her ear, and Athena went on " Its been two years, you haven't seen the sun and you're still beautiful. I'm almost jealous....almost. Let's share secrets ".

Nectar kept quiet and Athena stomped her foot childishly, " You're no fun, but I'll tell you a secret anyways. How would you react if I said I killed Howard, then Liam and then you were abandoned and forgotten by everyone else"?

Athena smiled as she held out her hands indecisively Nectar resisted the urge to lunge for her then, " They were innocent, you shouldn't have done that ". Athena laughed like a mad woman then, " The way you react now is how it should have always been. You always seemed untouchable but you cared too much ".

Nectar bit her lip, trying to stop herself from crying. Athena's eyes glowed, " You can't blame me though, you have something I want. I will do us both a favour and put you out of your misery. Your heart's already broken, do you really need it "?

Before Nectar could react , Athena had already ripped out her heart. Nectar shrieked and Athena smiled cruelly. Nectar didn't struggle, instead she laughed hysterically and spat at Athena " This isn't over. I'll haunt you're nightmares. Sell my soul and then drag you to hell with me ".

SECOND LIFE :

Nectar had been graced with a second life, but this time transmigrated to the modern world.

" She grew up in a middle class family that loved her very much. Their affection for her helped her realize she could make her own choices and still be a good daughter.

Nectar Reba went on to become a successful lawyer at the age of twenty five. She told people she decided to do this since she felt everybody needed a chance to explain their side of the story.

Fifteen years later, she was one of the most powerful judges in the world, punishing the guilty and bringing justice to the innocent. She regarded her job as her husband and was not known to be in romantic relationships but she certainly had a soft spot for children.

She spent her time and money on children charities, in hospitals and orphanages, when she wasn't with her family. Unfortunately, her charismatic life was abruptly stopped when she was assassinated by terrorists who the authorities believe wanted revenge against her for sentencing their boss to death.

After a futile struggle for her life and she was found dead with multiple bullet holes on her body ". That was the breaking news as all TV stations reported her murder six hours after her body had been found.
